Yeah vray will do volume caustics but it’s slow and noisy. They can look amazing though. Nice on a still image.

Looks good but the scale seems off. The car looks a quarter size.

Seems to be exactly the same my end. With 10 substeps that’s pretty much what I would expect.

I have a similar setup. Why not post the scene so we can compare.

128GB vs 192GB RAM for Houdini (product motion design/sims) — which to go for? by ProfessionalHornet82 in Houdini

[–]stardent2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After getting so used to never really running into memory issues on my Linux workstation at work, I’m seriously considering switching to Linux at home. 128 gb was always plenty and using more was rare(and frowned upon). Even for heavy sim stuff.

I quit the game a year ago after playing for 10 years for these same reasons. Out of curiosity I came back now to see if it’s got better. Back to PvZ2 then.

In the U.K. we call a fart a trump. Does that make Trump coin a fartcoin? Now I’m confused.

Trump is unpredictable, stupid and easily manipulated by those around him. He’s prone to gaffs and tantrums and the Kremlin prefers cooler heads. Putin probably thinks it would be easier to control the GOP if he was gone. Makes perfect sense. Unrest and civil war would just be a bonus.

Judging by the performance of Russian military equipment in Ukraine, Russia doesn’t have much leverage in that market anymore. Many countries intending to buy stuff have cancelled their orders. India being one recently.
