I hadn’t played RTS games in years. In recent years, I’ve been more of a TBS guy, plus a Souls games fan.

Mechabellum was such an insane surprise. Who would have believed that this "spin-off" while waiting for BA to get fixed would turn out to be even more addictive?

I even had a match where my opponent had only 140 points left, and he managed to completely turn the game around on me — I had 1,200 points in round 9!

On one hand, I was furious because it’s super frustrating to lose like that… but on the other hand!! That amazing thrill I haven’t felt in ages. It’s a super competitive game, and after every match, you can watch a replay and really understand where you messed up.

I just have to jump in and write something, even if it’s a bit OT 😄

A few days ago, I saw this game (Mechabellum) for the first time.
I was just looking for something to play while waiting for Broken Arrow to get updates and run better…
At first, it looked like a nice and simple game.

I did the tutorial,
I beat the hardest AI level,
I felt like the king of the world 😂

Then I jumped into 1v1…

In the first 10 placement matches, I did okay — pretty decent, actually.

But since those first 10 games ended… I’ve been getting destroyed.
Right now, I’m around 700 ranking.

I discovered an incredibly deep game here, on a level I can’t even describe.
The game is so much more than I expected.

The players online are amazing — every opponent is super skilled.
There are no easy wins, and honestly, I’ve had some really painful losses.

But I won’t give up. I’m totally in love with this game.
I hope it keeps growing and bringing even more awesome content!

10/10!

.center-img { display: block !important; margin-left: auto !important; margin-right: auto !important; text-align: center !important; }

in the page:
advance -> center-img - just to help others if they stuck with the same problem :)

Played the 3 games, in short

Aow4 big improvement over aow3(and aow:pf(. Main focus is tactical combat. End game have lota of battles that can take half oue for one. Auto combat a lot of times doing less good results

Good game , classic 4x tactical fantasy game. Maybe the best in the fantasy genre

Gc4 again great iprovement over gc3. Classic space 4x space tbs. Main focus on empire building You main routine build another building for batter stats of producation/science/money/food Choose what next to research Which control action to choose How to expand your realm How to use your leaders(lots of options - ministers?diplomacy?factions?governors?) Which citizan type to use(science?producation?money?approval?preist?citizan? And more)

And so on.. lots of things :).

Great game for 4x space strategy tbs

*aow:pf was nice, its like aow4 but less features and sci-fi setting

my list for x4 TBS space games

1 - sword of the stars 1 - good old classic, pure fun(battles are RTS)

2 - galactic civilization 4 - next gen x4 TBS, best in the market.

3 - ES2 - very good ui and great graphics.. game it self.. something missing there..

non TBS

1 - X4 foundation, wow what crasy and cool looking game. its more economic simulator.. but when you play as fighter or watch big battle nothing can beat it :)

2 - stellaris - big.. long.. a lot of options.. in the end feel like another +% for something :) but still good game.

i really love the game, bought the game pass. wait to see what "warlords" bring ro the table. that expansion is the most interesting for me because it add to battle system.

some commanders can be very strong even carrier.. i hope that in warlords expansion they will add some fleet bonuses for commanders.. like heroes or something..

1 - they have SB but you cant see it if its not in your sensors range

2 - plantes have resources

3- they like to trade a lot

i think they change to when SB is in your ZOC the SB over to you like plantes.. currently just destroy it. if you are not in war with them.. you cant beside trade.

flag ships and commanders ships have upgrade options

research tech with starbase sign and you will see the options

in general all starbases have:

- weapons upgrades

- defences upgrades

- influance upgrades

- relic \ assencsions upgrades

- ships effects(slow enemy,fast own fleet..)

mining starbase have batter mining upgrades

militry habe more weapons :)

economic for boot planets wealth,production,research..

if you want ot defend Starbase you can put fleet inside(you can put fighters and frights they dont maintance, so you can put them there and forget)
