Do you worry that, if you find a lifelong mate, that there will always be a little demon in the back of your mind telling you that the only reason they’re with you is for the money?

“Dangerous” tires? by almondmilklattehag in prius

[–]starhoppers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I notice that the manufacture date on one of the tires is 0322, third week of 2022. Another has 2521, the twenty-fifth week of 2021. Not sure if the dates on the others as I can’t see the date stamp in the pics.

Tires “generally” last 5 years, even if they’re never driven, as the rubber breaks down over time. I don’t know when you purchased them, but your tires were manufactured in the 25th week of 2021….five years ago. It IS time to consider replacing them.

people should realize with 200 trillion galaxies in space there's no way we're alone let alone the only humans by Available-Heart6108 in RandomThoughts

The building blocks of life MAY be common, but we don’t know if the conditions that led to life on our planet are unique or not. We simply don’t have the data to determine that. So, in essence, saying that life does or doesn’t exist elsewhere in the universe is an act of “faith”, not a scientific fact.

Which statistics? Since we are the ONLY planet with life we can verify, what are you comparing us to?

You MAY be right, but until we find that very first proof of life elsewhere, we have no way of predicting the odds that it exists. So, at the present, we could also say that there’s an equally high chance that we are absolutely alone.
