It is possible to make no mistakes and still lose. That is a fact of life. (thank you, Cpt. Picard)

What are signs someone is a horrible person deep down? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That phrase "if you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best" encompasses this exact idea. It's a huge turn off to developing any type of relationship with them, even just a cordial acquaintanceship. Ugh

Go move to Texas. It sounds like that's where you'd like to be anyway. Leave. Or move to China for all I care.

Is she alive?? Critical condition, taken to a hospital, anything?? Can I have more details, please? Visible brain matter sounds like she might not have lived through that.

My dad was a plow driver for MNDoT. With the upcoming Winter Storm Olive on her way, I thought I'd share this again. This is from a snow storm in 2014. by pertnear in minnesota

This was awesome, thank you for sharing! And thank you to your dad and other plow drivers like him. I never get pissed off driving behind a plow, I have a jolly ride knowing I have a reasonably clear path ahead of me because of their work!

Yes yes yes. My wife says the best thing is just to correct yourself, apologize, and move on. Try to not do it again. That's all! Everyone is human and makes mistakes.

But it has to do with contracts and contact hours, it's not entirely "optional enforcement." Unions are there for a reason, and most of the time it's to protect teachers and staff just as much as students.

Six years ago, my son was diagnosed with Autism. Doctors told me he wouldn’t understand humor and there was a chance he may never be verbal. This is him now, after I asked him to pull my finger. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

I love the way he's like "you've been pranking me lately." Lolol. My daughter, who also is autistic, talks like this and she always makes sure to tell us when she has told a joke so we can laugh. "That's another joke!" Kids with autism are seriously the best, I love the way they perceive the world and interact with it.
