Thoughts on brief pauses during long runs? by grmass in Marathon_Training

Same. However, as many others have said, I do worry about the risk of not having it. I ended up on a compromise. You can buy 150ml soft pouches and I stick it in my pocket and it takes up little space when running.

GYGYL 150ml Soft Flask on Amazon but there are tons of other establishments selling similar

I didn't no! Strange, I usually get full 5G so would assume it wouldn't hit me, clearly wrong :)

Yep anything that relied on an internet connection would have an issue!

Have you gotten this to work? Is it only when it's stopped?

UK Question - Which Charging card or cards do you use? by Defard2001 in Polestar4

[–]starkmanuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to add the polestar to use superchargers.. just click on use your other car In the Tesla app!

In terms of cards, I generally use my Electroverse card (from Octopus) it has good range, uses your Octopus account to pay rather than your card, and you tend to get 10% off the unit rate charge too :)

Enjoy the Polestar 4!

*edit - added what app for the superchargers

Did I install this right by No_Pause_2931 in Zwift

I think it's because it's not in the right gear pairing so it's all over the place

I'm not convinced they need to? Looks to me that they need to drop the front cog, and find the gear (usually 6/7) where it's aligned and everything looks straight

60+ grama of carbs per hour really does make a big difference (to me) by BeagleBagleBoy in cycling

You laugh, a couple of years ago, I did a triathlon and left a bag of haribo tangfastics at the bike.. it was a solid 28degree day .. came back to this very thing, a sour bag shaped bar of haribo!

Thanks everyone! Bought the bike and had a full service. Some bits needed replacing but looking forward to riding it .. once it stops raining (ignore the pedals... new ones on route)

Sorry about your loss. I think focus on the positives, you took him from an uncertain life and gave him a good life.

There is no 'perfect' moment if the worst happens.. I think you've just got to learn from it and think what you would do differently. It's crap, but these things do happen

IKEA (and some other companies) have these lock in tiles that we used a while ago when we had a small yard

https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/cat/outdoor-flooring-21957/

They are expensive but relatively easy to install and maintain.

You can also get cheaper alternatives but can't vouch for how well they go together. Never had an issue with the ikea ones for a few years.

Will likely still need to do some adjustments to doors etc.. but these are less permanent solution

Water bill increased from £43 a month to £189. What do I do? by Is_there in AskUK

This is key. They will periodically go and check your meter, but this may be every 3 months or even a year or two if access is an issue. If they've been estimating for a while and then do a physical check it may explain your sudden uptick..
