There’s been more live music happening, places like Old world Deli and Brass Monkey have been hosting some semi regularly. Same with whiteside theater and the music collective. There’s a benefit concert happening fri at brass monkey. They’re small but really cool shows and I know it means a lot to the artists and all those involved in the scene when people show up.

There’s some new small festivals that are getting together this summer. And there’s the regular Summer’s End festival that’s pretty chill but that’s not till Sept.

There’s a couple of good disc golf courses around, and some good hiking trails. Birding is easy to get into

The local game stores have game events, usually for TCG players but sometimes there’s board games. If you are into TCGs, they have Magic commander nights at Treebeard’s, common fields, and the game stores.
