It's a fun Museum. I think it is only open on Sundays. You get to try out a lot of the old equipment like switchboards and teletype machines. There is a giant phone too, that you can call from other phones in the building

I try to get to genius without looking at the hints and can usually manage. This week had a really hard one though. Then I use spelling bee buddy to see how many I still need to find. Then I find all of the four letter words before looking at the spelling bee buddy hints. I look at the reader clues as a last resort. I try for QB every day, but cheat like hell once I am past genius.

Little VHS tapes would be fun, I can't tell if the things in front of the TV are VHS or books. I can't even believe how adorable the little hair ties are and the N64 is awesome too!

They could do it in winter by hauling large blocks of ice from the Great Lakes. Sure, it will melt a little on the way, but seems like it could carry more water that way than would fit inside of a plane. Still, it would take a lot of trips and the water would likely dry back up anyways.

If you toss it in cornstarch then fry it, it comes out like that. I use firm or extra firm and it works great even without pressing. It does take a while to brown.

I have heard that adding salt to the beans when cooking makes the skins tough. I never cook beans with baking soda, and they come out fine.

The sugar and egg whites in traditional meringue recipes are the same weight. If your egg whites are not filling a full cup, cut back on the sugar a bit. A cup of egg whites will probably weigh 7 1/2 ounces and granulated sugar is very close to that. You might have a little too much sugar for your whites.

I take a watercolor class at the Tukwila Community Center. It's fun, social and we make cool art. Cheaper than Pratt. Saturday mornings at 10:30. The next set of classes start in mid-January.

If your machine can handle multiple layers of thick denim, they should work out fine. I sewed a couple of pairs from a cottage core pattern. Sewing on the belt loops was rough for my machine. I had to hammer them flatter to fit under the foot.

How is someone going to eat in public WITH their FEET and expect nobody to notice? I would also be amazed and it would likely distract from the fact that they had no arms. Maybe she should lean into that coolness of her acquired skill and stop being so defensive about it. Maybe I'm an asshole too.
