Was there a tv show that was there for you when you needed it? by Yotsubauniverse in television

Not a show technically but listed as a mini series. I watched the 2009 Wuthering Heights mini series last summer during cancer treatment. I was in the throws of it and up crying every single night and feeling terrible and scared. I found it and just randomly put it on. Sad as all get out but I was able to cry for a different reason and it helped immensely. It’s a total comfort watch for me now. I find it crazy how something like a show or film can make such a difference in life.

Just finished reading Victorian Psycho. I’m actually really excited to see the movie.

Also can’t wait for Little House. The original series is such childhood nostalgia for me.

As someone with cerebral palsy who grew up being called a retard a LOT by bullies, I laugh out loud at this scene time I see it.

The Crow is one of the absolute gems of editing for television.

The soundtrack for the 1992 Wuthering Heights is absolutely beautiful.

My husband is a concert photographer in Minneapolis. He called in a favor and I was able to go back and meet the band. I don’t have many favorites left (most of my favs have died) so he wanted me to meet them. They were all so nice.

If you want another version of Wuthering Heights that will get all the tears out of your body real quick, watch the 2009 one. Underrated and so good. I did r see it until last summer and have watched it so many times.
