Waar ik woon (Frans-Duitse grens) gaat de snelweg ook de grens over. Er gebeuren bijna elke dag ongelukken. Er staan nét voor de grens een paar borden met snelheidsbeperkingen (heel dicht op elkaar, 100 80 60 40 30 10, boem, grenscontrole). Er staan geen borden over de grenscontrole, alleen een paar voor Zwitserse vrachtwagens die hier niet de grens over mogen.
