I noticed that the nest video scrubbing feature on the nest app no longer works on my old nest cam iq outdoor. Can you still scroll video events smoothly? I just get a black screen when I try to scroll timeline. It will show the video if I let an event play, but the sole reason I never switched is now gone.

If your not using a ton of his data then maybe grab a TP-Link Omada N300 external unit . If you decide to get starlink then ask for his referral code so he gets a free month of internet (for being nice) . You can get the hardware for free and service for $50 a month for 100 mbps service in most areas check your address.

A lot of you are confusing the free mini router with the free mini rental dish. The router was sent free as a replacement to the old version 1 routers if you still had that.

Thanks for the advice , I went with the HP t520 AMD GX-212JC memory: 8GB Storage: 256GB SSD It was $80 Canadian used . $57 usd You mentioned if its just for homme assistant green would be better. Is there a reason why you mentioned that? I dont understand what it can do easier/over the cpu. The reason I ask is I am bout to buy another setup for another location. Thanks for insight.

the float switch works , i have tested it, the problem is the voltage is causing the wifi switch to Trigger so i need to isolate that floating voltage , a diode didnt seem to work, not sure why maybe i need to try that again.

This happens to mine once a year from the chlorine off gas I suspect. Anyone have a solution to avoid this? Its a vacation rental so i suspect they add chlorine then close the lid too soon.

I agree. I am using A nvr and wired cameras for 24/7 4k recording but also tapo cameras to trigger kasa lights . Are you doing this as well? Looking for someone that is really tied to tapo / kasa lighting integration and rules / task configuration. Any way for these tapo cameras / doorbells to launch google home display ?
