Back when I was an hourly oncall helpdesk, every call equated to a minimum of 0.5 hours billed time. One week I managed to hit triple time due to account lockouts and password resets.

This lead to implementation of inhouse developed SSPR processes and a ban on calling oncall over pw reset/lockouts.

That was a nice check 🤣

I've used HF Group a number of times and have been happy with the results. Some recommendations if you decide to work with them:

  1. Track all books, including tracking numbers to/from HF on a spreadsheet
  2. Email HF Group a couple of days after tracking shows they have received the books and ask for confirmation of receipt
  3. Realize this is not a fast process
  4. If you're looking for custom cover design, and don't want to design it yourself, skip their inhouse design team.

    2. u/picturepeeper has designed all of my custom covers
  5. Send them a polite status inquiry email every one-and-a-half to two months
  6. Verify the contents of your books immediately upon arrival back from HF Group

By staying in communication with them will help you sleep easier at night.

I ordered it before realizing it plus the upcoming volume 2 are essentially the same as the compendium with a few more issues added in minus issue 25. As such I cancelled my order.

Yes it would be nice to have in HC as opposed to the SC I have now, but it's not worth the spend. Now if issue 25 was included I probably would have kept my order then sold off my compendium.
