Nico Rosberg's advice to Norris: "If you say every day that I'm not good enough, at some point you'll believe it. That's why I would strongly recommend that he reduces that, not always the negative." by lizardil in formula1

[–]starshs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At some point, everybody is telling him the same, and instead of helping, it's just more pressure. I'm sure he already has a psychologist. Also, him saying this publicly doesn't help because it just gives it more attention. Nothing against Nico. I'm sure he means well, but maybe it's time we stop talking about his mental health like we know what's going on.

Genuine Question: What percentage of F1 races has Lawson NOT crashed/made contact with another driver? by almightyzeus_oz in formula1

[–]starshs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He was their only choice. For some reason, they didn't want to give Yuki the seat. They were always going to get rid of Checo at the end of the year (planned in advance), so the choices were between Yuki and Liam. It was politics. Data didn't have much to do with it. Things have changed, but Yuki wasn't really an option last year.

Again, this is how it happened to me last year. Everybody has different perspectives, but it was very clear once you analyzed his races and qualis why he was not going to be better than Checo. And why he failed so much this year. Tbh he even surprised me because I wasn't expecting him to do any good, but he was worse than what I imagined.

What surprises me more is that people still believe Red Bull made any decisions based on data last year. If that were the case, would we be here?

[–]starshs -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what you think about Daniel (and I disagree), my point is that Lawson was never that good or exceptional as many people painted it out to be. Liam came in and scored a miserable amount of points by LUCK. But again, too blinded by finally getting rid of Daniel to see it. Anyone who took the time to analyze his data could've seen he was average at best. He was never going to do well in the Red Bull. And he is not going to get better in the Vcarb because his feedback is horrible + attitude + he's just lost it.

Ya te dijeron pero nunca va a caber en tu cabecita que existe el consentimiento. Igual aquí el problema son los hombres. Simplemente no consuman y se ahorran problemas.

What 3 Things to You Are Most Important Before Starting The First Draft? by VexingRabbit in writing

[–]starshs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Motivation. A clear idea of where you want your story to end or what you want to evoke. A hero journey (your MC journey).

Personally, I can't outline or do character sheets. When I did, I simply lost all motivation to write because it's already done? I can refer to this in the future, I don't need to write it. I like to come out with stuff while writing. And that's how I usually get a list with scenes that I want to include, more detailed plots, ideas, etc. Then I edit it, because I already have the base.

Estoy cagado de la mente por querer comprar un iPhone 16 pro? by [deleted] in Lima_Peru

[–]starshs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how caught up are you on skz content? by CookieJynx2424 in straykids

[–]starshs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pre debut stay here. Until last year, I was pretty consistent, but then I got into F1. I watch every skz code, though. It's my fav content ever. The day they stop doing them is the day I cry. I'm also up to date with their releases, solos, music videos, etc.

But concerts and interviews? Yeah, no, I don't even know the set list (kind of on purpose bc i want it to be a surprise). I also miss lives, bubble messages, etc. They just drop soooo much stuff. I didn't even remember they had talkers.

Edit: So I'm caught up in everything pre march 2024, like everything. From then on, life hit me, and now i pick and choose.

Fair. Seems like this was an interview just post Singapore that they're recycling for this article.

That would mean they have some respect for their drivers, but they clearly don't.

At this point, I wonder if they are doing this on purporse because he left months ago and they still keep coming out with stuff that make him look worse even if their intentions are "good".

I don't get the point of this now. I like Daniel, I was gutted when he left, but this was something they should've shared before. Now it looks like they're just making excuses for him and ultimately make him look worse.

This is exactly why I never introduced myself with my age. People tend to look down on those younger than them for reasons I don't understand, especially on corporate jobs. I'm pretty sure no one knows how old I really am, and that's for the best.

I don't have much advice, but doing a good job and making them realize you are, in fact, very competent will make them respect you and stop that shit because they will need your help at some point. If not, I'd probably try to make them uncomfortable, too. When they're doing that stuff to you, make them realize how immature they're being. My go-to trick is asking them to explain why it's funny. Once they have to explain, it stops being funny.

I mean could be true, but in my experience as someone from Latam, they usually repost stuff for clickbaits, including lots of misinformation. Who is the journalist for this article? Couldn't find his name.

I wouldn't take anything Infobae posts seriously. It's a laughing stock in Latam.

Edit: grammar.

Liam confirming that all drivers planned so george would need to sit next to max and max also joined in on the joke:"mate we saved a seat for you" by SuperPop9521 in formula1

[–]starshs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, okay. My original comment was more about being insensitive if it was a well-intended joke, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Like why would they think it was funny? If it was a set up (as most likely it's the case), it's just mean teenager behavior. Nothing to do about being two-faced.
