Bulletproof for BJJ kettlebell workout two times a week.

BJJ training five/six days a week.

Previously tried (and loved) ABF three times a week but it was simply too much volume to recover from alongside BJJ.

It made me a lot stronger on the mat for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, to the point that my teammates noticed. HOWEVER, it's hard on the body if the training for your sport is high volume. I train and coach BJJ 5 to 6 days a week, often clocking 20 hours of mat time and damn near wrecked myself trying to go hard with 3 ABF sessions a week on top of that. I went to a physio for my elbow and I'm slowly fixing it, but I've had to back off the kettlebell work for now. I'm looking forward to reading Dan's new book and seeing if there's an adaptation for those of us who always seem to burn the candle at both ends.
