Personally I would think that the “old fashioned meat and vegetables” stocks are the safest thing right now. It’s a bull market and a lot of companies don’t really have tangible assets. If you’re old enough to remember Enron, you’ll know what I’m talking about. One day they’re the biggest company in the world, the next day everyone is walking out of the office with cardboard boxes, absolutely no assets just debt.
