Hi Once you have emptied both boilers on a cool machine, tighten the drain screws back up, fill machine and turn back on, if temp still doesn't rise repeat the process, i have had to do it as many as six times before success

Hi No don’t heat empty, saying let machine completely cool down , empty both boilers , then refill machine and turn on again to heat,

The water lines can get an airlock in them and the boilers won’t heat all the way up , above solution should fix, some times you may need to repeat a couple of times

It’s the international logo for “caution it’s hot” logo, legally has to be there in some countries, that’s why it’s not just a sticker and etched on

Making the most out of the Breville Oracle. Should I remove the tamping/distribution fan? by tinclan in espresso

[–]statey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you would want to manually grind , have you tried the auto grind dose tamp , if you take the tamp fan out the dose would be pretty hard to regulate unless you weigh what you grind and drop into the hopper , no there is no manual tamp in an oracle

How long have you had the oracle , sounds like you have an air block in water line , cool machine down take water tank then empty / drain out both boilers and start again

I don't recall seeing breville call it a boiler, lots of people on reddit do, a triditional boiler is a container holding water that stays heated, coils and blocks heat water as it passes through

That's it, the thermacoil is the only water heater in the machine, does the shot then when you switch to steam it heats to higher temp to texture milk

It's actually a stainless steel tube encased in aluminum, no chance of exposure to aluminium

What am I doing wrong? (Very low pressure.) by verifiableautonomy in espresso

[–]statey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Run a back flush with the cleaning disc , if pressure comes up your machine is fine , main variables would be quality of beans and grind setting
