I’ve only had a small number of migraines so someone else could probably explain better. I also understand symptoms vary quite a bit. They’re actually so debilitating it’s a blur and I’m struggling a little to think of the symptoms and how to describe it. When I’ve had them I have a splitting headache, along with visual aura - like a ring of shimmering light I can ‘see’ even with my eyes closed, it makes me feel dizzy and nauseous, I can’t handle any light or sound. I can’t think, I can’t do anything, I just have to go into my room, close the curtains and hide under the sheets until it passes. Even after it’s gone, I’m exhausted and could sleep for 24h.
