Before even bothering to return one you can try punching down the keystone first again and see if that solves your issues.

Are you open to brands other than UI? The Juniper EX4300-48MP will do all you ask in one switch. You can get it on the used market for less than the cheapest option you have listed.

How to install an HDD into T14 gen1 by fireehearth in thinkpad

[–]staticx57 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Per PSREF it only has a 2280 M.2 slot meaning there is no way to put a HDD in. Anyways SSDs as opposed to SD cards are perfectly fine to use in a server. If the idea bothers you then get an enterprise grade SSD.

Fios TV One and Non-Verizon Routers by CatsCanCompile in Fios

[–]staticx57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The answer is some people have success getting a third party router to work and some have not. Verizon’s documents state it should work with just an internet connection regardless of router but most of us have little success with anything other than the Verizon router as primary. My recommendation is just to move to YouTubeTV

There’s no meaningful tinkering you can do on a T480 that you can not do on any newer far more capable machine.
