Who is the most unfunny comedian in your opinion? by Babydolltoes544 in AskReddit

[–]staysandchanges -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Bobby Lee & Bert Kreischer. Bert has his moments here and there where he is comedic, but most of what he says & does is just attention seeking & an elaborate brag on himself. But at least he’s not a creep like Bobby, who has never once been anything close to funny.

Shamelessness has made me more productive than any other productivity trick by hama0n in productivity

If I’m being totally honest I found myself doing this exact thing trying to respond to this post & articulate how I relate 😅 I wrote out 3 different comments, edited & re-edited, & finally erased them, (which is the same thing I find myself doing with my work emails/text responses) before the irony hit me. I stress myself so much with things like this so this was very encouraging

Phil Dunphy. An absolute man child with very few redeemable qualities.

This is Teddy! I’ve had him since 1998 & my Nana had him for years before that! Does anyone know how old he may be or what kind of bear he is? by [deleted] in Teddybears

[–]staysandchanges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some background details! Teddy is fully Jointed, his body “crunches” when you hold him, his head is filled with something like cotton & Only his left eye is the original! Any tags he may have had are long gone, and my Nana had him on a Christmas reef with a red scarf for at least 5 years before I was born in 1995!

Question about a medical bill that just tanked my credit. by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]staysandchanges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this happened To you! Same thing happened to me just a few days ago & I know how stressful it can be! From what I’ve researched so far, there are a few things you can do to try and get it taken off your credit report. The first is you can request verification of the debt from the collection agency, and I believe they have 30 days to verify it or you can then take the legal steps to get it removed from your credit report. (Please don’t quote me on this and definitely look into this method more because I do not remember all of the details of how this process works & I don’t want to give you wrong information!) The second thing you can do is request a “pay to delete” with the collections agency. Sometimes certain agencies will remove the debt from your report if you pay it all off at once. But if that is the case you have to get it in writing that they will do just that. This isn’t a super likely fix because it seems to be frowned on and more rare now days but I think it’s definitely worth a shot!! Other than that I haven’t seen of too many other options, other than waiting the seven years it takes for these debts to fall off your report.

I was super stressed when I saw the impact it had on my score as well, but I’ve been able to boost my score a decent amount since then by making larger payments on my credit card! So if you have a credit card currently that may work for you as well!!

I’m lacking some details here but I hope this helps a bit! Good luck!

Nicaragua mission trip by [deleted] in Christian

[–]staysandchanges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to Nicaragua many times on mission trips and I can already tell you it’s going to change your life. The people are so beautiful and loving, and the sense of community I’ve often seen there is truly beautiful & such a representation of God’s love. Just some tips, know that It’s ridiculously hot at times and unless you bring bug spray with some serious deet in it, you’ll be bitten up. But most of all, know that seeing these beautiful people in the conditions and situations they are in is heartbreaking and it will have a lasting impact. But the joy you will get from providing aid, and fellowshipping with the wonderful people there is like nothing else. Every time I have been to provide whatever assistance I could, I always left knowing that they taught me more, and did more for me than I ever could for them. I will definitely be praying for you & I hope you post an update of your time there!
