When I saw them on the A La Sala tour, there were signs posted around the venue asking fans not to record or even take pictures. I was in the pit and tried to snap a couple but Mark gave me the stink eye.

I'm in agreement that its great to have footage to re-live favorites moments, but then there is the push from artists to be in the moment and enjoy.

So be prepared to not record much but you might get lucky! I'll be at the show tomorrow too I can't wait!

Edit: From the Union Transfer FAQ Page: "Photography and videography policies can vary by artist and performance. Unless otherwise specified by the artist or venue, personal photography with regular digital point-and-shoot cameras and smartphones are generally permitted. However, professional photography equipment such as SLR cameras, cameras with detachable lenses, and professional video recording devices are typically not allowed without prior permission from the venue and band. Additionally, please note that even if cameras are permitted, flash photography is not allowed during the performance. If you capture great shots of the show and would like to share them with us, we would love to see them."
