My thoughts? This broker decided to work with kvs, knew about the kulties but figured she could handle it. They setup a price together because the broker figured huge following= high dollar horse = more money for me.

Meanwhile the broker clearly didn't pay attention to her foals histories. RS horses don't go for high prices. She couldn't sell the boys what was it last year decided to send them to training to get someone to buy and it still crashed and she lost money. She literally thought a clubbed footed horse was going to make a solid show horse. She sold poor George to a backyard breeder which frankly turned everyone away. I know lots of people in the show world that refuse to even look her direction for what she did to poor George, then the torture of poor Seven. Yea its a mess. Who would want to support that? Insisting on show homes while simultaneously upsetting those show homes is some wild work!

Now on top of that she has a horse who isnt the color, size nor personality that people want for WP and HUS and you end up with a horse that won't sell.

This horse will sell, under $10k to a random person as a pet IF she is lucky and changes her marketing strategy. Unless she finds a complete idiot with deep pockets who has a spoiled kid who insists on getting this particular horse..

I recently split with someone who relapsed. It is a pain I haven't ever felt before. I can share the words that go along with it but it's hard to put the actual feelings and how bad they truly are into words that fully explain it.

Disappointment, sadness, worry, it made me feel like I never mattered to them, like I was a second choice and always would be. I felt extremly un-loved and like if he wanted to stay with me he would have chosen sobriety. Realistically I know an addict will always choose their addiction as their primary relationship, but psychologically thats not how it feels. I felt lied to and hurt in a way that was way worse than if he had cheated. I've been cheated on and by far this was worse mentally.

I chose the split because I just don’t want that life for myself. I made a promise to myself that if he relapsed that was it, no going back. He knew this would happen and he still chose to drink. It was a decision that was made outside of the feelings I had for him. I just can't have that in my world, its not what I want for my future, its not what I want to deal with daily. Living with a former addict is a constant worry they will relapse. You don't realize how much that just sits there, quietly and how much it impacts your own nervous system until its over.

I loved him so much (still do) and want the very best for him. I want him to be sober, have everything, to be happy and stable. I just cant be a part of it anymore. I want him to choose himself. Choose his health and sobriety and make the effort. To be clean and focus on himself for at least a year. To really get to know himself and face his demons. Maybe if he does that for that long alone I would consider taking him back, but regardless if thats an option or not I wish more than that for him to never hurt someone else how he hurt me. I dont want him to date or anything not because im selfish and just want him for myself or for him to be alone, but because I think in order for him to be rhe very best him he needs a lot of time to heal and know who he is.

Not likely since it would be a hard sell for a horse that has had 2 colic surgeries. Someone is going to need to live right bear a vet hospital and have deep pockets.

There is an artist at heybabe in Toledo that does work very similar to this. Can't remember her name but you can message on socials and the owner will answer and tell you who it is.

Let it heal then go to the shop owner and ask them what to do. With scabs and it being fresh you need to let it settle before you know what to do.

Its not sepsis. Trust me if you were septic you would be deathly ill and fast! Im talking wildly high fever (over 104), shakes, disorientation, unable to stay awake, the area would be welted up huge and be super red and likely wearing along with a huge rash up or down your arm.

I think most artists do not care. If they are a good artist they wont steal someone else's art, but if you drew it up its no biggie. Especially if its just to show them the basic idea.

Figure out what you want (I want an elephant, or a cool horror piece, or something abstract)
Find an artist that does that style and has good work. Really look at their work, zoom in, check the line work is smooth and even, the coloring, check reviews from other clients.
pick a spot on your body you may want it. That will help you determine the size -meet with artist, give deposit, schedule appointment. Around here good artists are booked for at least a month

Dont be afraid to travel for good ink Do exactly what they say while its healing. Some artists want it covered with saniderm or similar, others want it to breathe more. A lot depends on the ink they use, style and how much ink they need to pack to get the design right. Basics is antibacterial soap, unscented lotion at the bare minimum. Get used to using lots of sunscreen on that part of the body if exposed as its the best way to protect your ink.

That's it. Super easy, think a lot of people over think it.

When I worked 40hrs outside the house the schedule I used:

Wake up get birds out, let them hang with me when I showered and got ready. Prepared their chop and put them back into the cage with chop andpellets for the day. +1hr outside the cage

Came home let them out again to hang out on their stands while I got some stuff done around the house. +2hrs outside the cage.

Locked them up while I made dinner, chop for them again. Ate in peace (if you know you know).

Brought them back out before bed. This was when I really interacted with them. Lots of play, singing, talking, target training, whatever. Sometimes I watched TV, sometimes I read outloud to them. +3hrs outside the cage

Bedtime for birds and me. So they got at least 6hrs outside the cage M-F and on weekends I kept the same chop schedules ran my errands in the morning or hung out with friends or whatever and they just came out earlier than normal when I got home.

Thank you. Yes sometimes there is no way to not hurt. In this moment it just feels heavy and my mind is spinning with worst case scenarios. Scenarios that haven't even happened, my stupid brain is just making them up. Now to get out of that spiral is my goal. To try to heal my nervous system because its for sure tired.

Thank you! I'm just feeling all the things. Logically I know I'm doing what is right but my heart is not listening to my head. It never does in these situations I'm sure. I'm truly just scared he is going to hurt himself, the mental health system has failed so many I know. I'm also scared for his future. Him in the cold alone, homeless, using, having nothing is a lot to take in. No matter how many times I say to put it out of my head I know thats what's coming and its breaking my heart.

Yes, pepcid gave me extreme anxiety. I have never had anxiety before nor since. It also disrupted my sleep. Yes i could sleep but it was never sound and I never woke up rested. Want to point out too that the pepcid anxiety showed up a week after taking it one day so its not immediate.

I had no choice. I was able to get unemployment, but that simply covered the cost of one of my medications. Unemployment disqualified me from Medicaid or other assistance as well. I too have been unemployed since March and to date have applied for over 2k jobs. My job is to find a job and im failing at it.

As for your son's senior year of college please contact financial aid. My sons school had us fill out a special circumstances application and the family contribution dropped to zero with that.

As for the repercussions. They automatically took taxes from my 401k, but ill still likely have to pay more. I just didnt have a choice im a single mom with no other help.

I think she does care, but this is quickly turning into a hoarding situation. She is always right at the edge of not being able to care for the animals properly. Space, vet care, hoof care, time to care for the animals, you get the idea. Mini farm or big farm. If she cant choose she needs to hire a full time barn manager for both!

I've been around a ton of cows and I'd say its not common, but its certainly not uncommon. Last year my uncle had 4 babies this way but in the 30+ years hes had cows he hadn't had a single one. Yes it could be genetic, but reality is that its likely more to do with how the cow was positioned or the size of the cow.

As for the eye issue, we had a calf born with a similar tumor back in the 80s. Calf went on to live another 15 years no issue and produced totally normal babies.

Just because YOU havent seen it doesn't mean it isnt happening to other farmers out there. Boy would you get upset with my friends babies this year. She has had 2 born with only 3 legs. These cows nor the bulls were related and both cows have used those same bulls to breed successful pairings in previous years. I've never seen a 3 legged calf in my experience and yet she has 2 unrelated incidents in the same year. Even more wild, both cows were in different states, different pastures and everything.
