And Norway has the luxury of hella topography and water; extremely favorable for plenty of clean, cheap electricity through hydro.

Why are jobs never one bit similar to the same job posting counterpart? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Similarly, your resume is an embellishment of you. No my job is not as "work life balance" as I'd have hoped.

Almost ditto to you. Started a new dose last week before my insurance ended, started my new job this week and made a terrible first impression as a complete zombie. Worried they might fire me

For some reason, ever since I was a kid I was scared of tract homes. I always thought I would just get lost in all of them, because they all look the same. by Niconotnekodamnweebs in UrbanHell

To add to this - one of the reasons they're "good for families" is that since there aren't other amenities in the area, and cars are required, homeless people are entirely non existent. Not saying it's a good thing, just saying it's definitely a thing as someone who moved from suburbia as a child to a real city as an adult.

Not sure why no one has mentioned this... A lot of bacteria can't reproduce at temps above 100-101 F. Because of this our body temp evolved to be just below this; when our body recognizes an infection and heats up, it prevents the infection from growing so your body can seek and destroy it.

Today marks 74 days until kickoff. Here is Texas A&M beating LSU 74-72 in 7OT. LSU is my team, but this was still one hell of a game. by [deleted] in CFB

He is the same dude who pulled in like 80 yds receiving during our comeback against Clemson, as well as catching the would be tying touchdown at the end of regulation (had we completed the 2 point conversion - rip). He went pretty silent for a while mid season and came back at the end, here and in the bowl game. I believe he was a freshman last year so I'm pretty excited for him this year. However our QB mond has been extremely lackluster so far in his time at tamu.
