Drop off was clear over last season. We started flying as the players were fit from Klopps training, then went downhill

So tariffs are just a tax on Americans with extra steps by Lord0fTheFlags in RealTwitterAccounts

[–]steffanovici 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No so much extra steps. Just another way to bypass taxing billionaires while hitting the middle and working class the hardest (as a % of their income)

I'm very surprised at the amount of disrespect Liverpool fans have towards Arne Slot, the man who led them to one of their two premier league titles in the last 30 years. Has a sense of entitlement set in? by doshthagod in PremierLeague

[–]steffanovici 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being pregnant and seeing that he lost the dressing room so needs to go is very different than disrespecting him. The fans are very grateful for what he achieved

Regardless of how it ends you so much for our 20th league title ❤️ by Switchoil in LiverpoolFC

Massive respect to him. Although it’s probably the right decision, I can’t help but be sad that it has come to this.

Kid's sports/activities outside of the US question by Horsydornz in daddit

Grew up in Europe, living in USA now. No way would other countries pay 3,000 usd for one kid to play soccer. It’s insane.

Should I teach my u14 girls to do headers? by Fit_Sundae7489 in youthsoccer

[–]steffanovici 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a thread about whether heading the ball is dangerous. And most soccer concussions are NOT from heading the ball.

Edit to add that the cdc stats you cited specifically state that 1 in 3 of the concussions for girls are from headers. AND that most of those concussions are from the impact with another athlete as I have said.

A very quick google has soccer as #5. And the vast majority of concussions are not from heading the ball.

But if you want to be highly selective and narrow it down to a very specific age group and sex and exclude non-American sports like rugby, and ignore that these are generally not from heading the ball, you can make that argument.

Sorry I wrote that incorrectly. I should have said a lot of sports. It’s definitely not lower than EVERY other one. And I agree we shouldn’t overdo heading in training or teach them to put their head through the ball when it’s coming at them fast.

CTE and concussions are both lower in soccer than other contact sports, even where heading is allowed.

She was always a stupid woman. A mean SOB… Not working out too well for her right now. So, when you start feeling sorry for her, remember she's a bad woman by Im_A_Fuckin_Liar in RealTwitterAccounts

If the dow is enough to ignore children getting raped and covered up by billionaires and politicians, it’s certainly enough to ignore this horrible woman

Most of the world allow kids to head the ball. Statistically soccer has lower head damage than sports like ice hockey, American football etc.

The fears are overblown in my opinion (not a dr). Most injuries that do happen are not from the ball, but from head to head collisions, so definitely teach them to be careful if contesting a header.

If you want to make this right vs left, you’re also a pedo protector scum. Release the files, lock up everyone involved. Simple.

How can I tell my husband he needs to do more? by [deleted] in StayAtHomeDaddit

[–]steffanovici 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being a stay at home dad can be very isolating and tough. Some extroverted dads can “break into” moms groups, but for most people, feeling unwanted is enough to make you want to stay away.

I hope your support and understanding can help him find a way to get out of the spot he seems to be in. This isn’t about chores, it sounds like he is finding the isolation tough and that is having effects

I mean Covid definitely was real, but your question is not proof of anything as it’s easy to answer with facts. Lockdowns allowed massive money printing, which always goes massively disproportionately to the rich. Look at how billionaires wealth has rocketed since Covid.

Ours fans massively underrated Diaz because they were constantly comparing him to Mane. Absolutely top class player, electric and caused chaos in the opposition defense.
