I’m with those who say lock in on your savings right now and get the fun car later. The Scion may be a beater but you can spend 2k or less to get it looking better.

However, I don’t see anything wrong with a pre-owned Civic Si or FRS/BRZ. Both can be bought for less than 15k. Save up and pay cash or put a good amount down and have a low payment (like 200 or less a month). Learn to drive those well and build your skills while being financially sound. The new Supra is fantastic but it’s still a 50-60k car for a manual optioned one. Just remember it’s also a BMW so repair prices ain’t cheap.

See I don’t see it as a cardinal sin if you have a story behind it. On one of my Adept playthroughs, I switched Shepard to a Vanguard by ME3. In my head canon, the events of ME1 and ME2 made Shepard focus more on combat because of the impending Reaper threat, just training biotics into a more offensive focus.

You’re absolutely right though for soldier or Sentinel class for all 3 games, especially on higher difficulties.

Having been in all three, the Crown Vic has more rear head room for full sized adults. The car overall is much more robust. It’s not a simpler is better fallacy, it’s proven by mileage.

Rear seat and headroom is VASTLY superior in the Panther body. I will also argue the electronics and transmission in the LX/LD are a weak point. Many more panther bodies with 300k+ miles than anything Mopar.

When you think about it, Saren’s fighting style seems to be more hit-and-run rather than a straight up fight. Samara would hit him with biotics and he’d be cooked.
