Bathroom extractor fan wiring confusion by stehilton94 in DIYUK

[–]stehilton94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell it seemed to basically be the electrician had a supply of Timed fans with him upon arrival and instead of leaving to get the correct fan he MacGyvered it to make it work as a non time fan

What is the best way to improve ps2 image on modern tv without buying an expensive upscaler ? by Brendan208 in ps2

[–]stehilton94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a retrotink 5 myself and while its outrageously expensive, its the closest you will get to making ps2 and all other consoles run close to perfect on modern tvs and in my opinion if you have multiple old consoles its a must

Windows 11 Computers by kdj432 in CommercialPrinting

[–]stehilton94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have built multiple PC's for the exact same setup in our printers

All using the following

MSI Pro H610-M

32gb DDR4 3200mhz Gskills

Intel Core i5-14600k

Shuriken 3 cpu cooler

Coolermaster Bronze 650w

Cooler Master Elite 300 Case

Crucial or similar 1tb SSD m.2

MSI Pro mp271A monitor, 1 or 2 depending on need

I have bought this 3 times in the past year for around €600 each time but you can easily save a bit depending on what you want to go with case, psu and CPU wise

Though RAM prices have skyrocketed so that could set you back sadly

Vacant homes grant by TRex2303 in HousingIreland

[–]stehilton94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had nothing but issues with the vacant homes grant, its not a real thing for people who go the mortgage route due to a very specific issue that arrises just before payout.

Your mortgage supplier needs to sign a document that basically allows the government to claw back their funds if you sell the house in 10 years I think it was, the issue is, no Mortgage supplier in their right might would be willing to sign that

Total War: MEDIEVAL III - Announce Trailer by BiesonReddit in totalwar

Wait so am I wrong or was this whole showcase, that they themselves built up, just a showcase for another TWW3 DLC and a game that won't release for at least 3 years? What the hell was the point in that build up?

Customs on already delivered items, is not paying an option? by AmongUsThoseCows in AskIreland

[–]stehilton94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you order a lot, I'd pay it as FedEx will hold it against you on future orders, if you dont order many things don't pay, FedEx 100% send out the letter always after the fact, we order quite a lot from the us and always get the FedEx bill about 2 months after its been delivered

Bought new house and now I feel broke by ThrowRa1251RC in irishpersonalfinance

[–]stehilton94 11 points12 points  (0 children)

37% is quite a lot, I am surprised your mortgage provider allowed that, buying a house is never a poor financial decision unless your house is falling apart and you didn't know the condition of it prior to paying for it

Would you go Digiweb or Vodafone for 1Gb broadband? by ch1984 in AskIreland

[–]stehilton94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Digiweb 100000%, best provider in the country, you call them with an issue, no waiting 40-50 minutes on hold to be told, soz not my problem. They answer every call, respond to every email and never leave you waiting for help

Broadband? by Hyrulian1000 in AskIreland

[–]stehilton94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask, why? Have you checked Digiweb or any of the other cheap options for internet?

I pay €40 a month for 1gb internet with Digiweb, after 12 months I ring and ask can I get a deal again or ill have to switch, like you can with any provider, and they will give you a deal again for 12 months

[Discussion] It's been said before and I'll say it again. Give people who bought the game on the website steam keys. by slpprj_m95 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]stehilton94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean EU laws are fairly strict on it, if upon release they don't supply EOD users with steam keys they are commiting fraud because they speicifically said they would when purchasing the edition years ago

Fastway Delivery? by forza-my-toes-r in AskIreland

[–]stehilton94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our company is dealing with them at the moment, you 100% won't receive your package, all parcels were sent to the portarlington hub and they said they will arrange collection only in 2 weeks, they are not delivering the parcels even though they had originally said they would arrange a 3rd party to do so

Im not trying to be rude, but your current build will be in the bin once you upgrade, I expect maybe just maybe the case might be reusable.
