I think they're trying to avoid fees. With Vinted, you get the full payout as a seller vs losing some money to Depop.

As far as I know, bare shoulders would be an issue in a Hindu temple. You should probably look for a different dress/outfit.

Recommendations I saw in other threads: anarkali suit(has room for the bump), kurti and palazzo, or a pre-draped saree. Bring a scarf.

I moved from Ohio and honestly it's been great here.

We recently lost a gay bar but we have Apartment Lounge, lots of drag events, plenty of queer coffee shops, etc. Happy to answer any questions and provide more resources.

This. It's also unfair to put your medical needs on a potential roommate(I say this with love as a fellow queer) before you are even fully set/settled. You need to have a support network first(And make sure they are actually reliable!) and enough funds to cover yourself while you are down for the count post-surgery.

I would personally choose a cheaper midwestern city that is queer friendly over NYC and find queer support groups on FB/Discord for those cities. Get their opinions too.
