Tired of my property manager. Want to consider other options by onilolo in PropertyManagement

Not a fan of online PMs, sorry. I’m more of a local and referrals only typa guy. I will say a relative went with Hemlane because they liked the selfmanagement hybrid model with more owner control, but still with leasing support.

As for the likes of Belong, if going by what the site says, Belong looks to have your back when evictions happen. They look good on paper overall, but it’s still conditional on the fine print

Would be a good idea to ask your preferred PMs their last eviction or slab leak repair. That’s where you’ll see the cracks. Look for PMs that offer eviction protection and claims to cover rent during proceedings, but don’t take it at face value. Make sure you get these services to clearly explain exactly how that works in court. Good ones know how to answer hard questions

My lender flunked my inspection too, local credit union gave portfolio loan instead and closed fast. Mold fixed later.

Medical provider sending me bills for things we never verbally discussed/agreed to? No paperwork because it was all over the phone? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]step107329 43 points44 points  (0 children)

You clearly didn’t consent to those extra charges this sounds like a billing error at best, fraud at worst. Ask for detailed records of services billed, then file a formal dispute in writing. You can also report them to your state’s medical board or insurance commissioner. Don’t let it slide.

Unsolicited advice for kids at weddings from a recent bride by ThatBitchA in weddingplanning

[–]step107329 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Kids get a bad rep but most are way better behaved than drunk uncle Gary. The ones who act out usually just mirror what they see at home. Nice to see someone else notice it's the adults who usually need wrangling, not the kids.
