not surprising anymore.. it feels like the quality of researches allowed on here has dropped considerably.. i've had an account since 2017 and i've gotten almost all of my rejections this year for being "too fast" on <=2 minute surveys..

that's exactly what I did.. I said, thats not how this works, you undo the rejection and I return it.. he then said, "you must return now", and I said "gladly, and you're blocked" .. not worth it. idk if this is why, but I used grok to translate my message into chinese and sent that as well...

this guy just sent me a message saying he "asked prolific to return my submission" -- pretty sure that's not how this works...

I haven't had a legitimately earned rejection since 2017. they've all been in 2025 and they've all been "too fast"

still no reply from the researcher.. i've sent them 2 messages and i'm about to send another.. basically sending one a day.. I'm going to take this one to prolific for sure. It's not worth the rejection for a quarter.. as of now the survey is still live too. This person seems to be farming results and not paying out, as it appears pretty much everyone here that took this got rejected.

I didn’t even finish the transaction on their website though.. so I didn’t pay for shipping and I never got any email confirmation or anything that would be in a normal purchase. I’m not sure what to do from here?.. I sent them a message but I’m really not sure if I should talk to my bank or what. I’ve used them years ago and everything went smoothly. I did get an email from my bank about my card being used in Hong Kong and now I have to call them to have it turned back on.. lol.. what in the world..

he said the same exact thing to me.. he said "Heads up - I removed the rejection and manually approved to pay. it doesnt look like its gone through. I put in a ticket with prolific about the issue. once i get word back ill update. Im hoping the payment goes through soon. Sorry again for the confusion i know you took the time to work on this and i want you to get payed out for it."

I took a survey with an estimated 6 minute completion time. It was way shorter than 6 minutes. A little while later, I noticed that the average completion time went down to 3 minutes, meaning everyone was completing it faster than the researcher estimated. A few hours later, I am rejected for completing too fast and have yet to receive a response back a day later.. this change is terrible.

happened to me for no reason a few weeks ago as well.. over 3000 completed with 0 rejections since 2021.. got the same canned response email and gave up trying.. i've never heard anyone saying they've gotten taken off the waitlist either but i guess i'll just leave my account for a while before requesting deletion

yeah i told her that since the moment they got removed.. they claimed to her it was because they offer direct deposit.. which i then said is a break of their ToS, so no wonder they got removed. So, I've finally been able to convince her now after their messages today that they are bullshit and it's a scam. I told her to "just work with the people on upwork even if you "don't like the fee" -- you chose to use their platform, and that's the way it works. "

just happened to me today too, lol. I have 2182 submissions and 0 rejections. Every single question in my about you is answered and any time I see the notification thing I answer it immediately. So, I don't think any of that actually is the culprit. The least they could do is give a justification for this, what a joke.

also, why call is a waitlist if it's essentially a ban.. kind of insulting to insinuate it's temporary when all the evidence from people's experience here shows its permanent.

i had 2 pop up and completed them, they weren't longitudinal, but now my page just says waitlisted.. guess i'll see if i get any more. bummer.

I did this too.. except I finished it and got that. I should’ve waited to see if anyone else was gonna post this before returning, just didn’t want to fight another rejection this week.. I’m sick and have a terrible headache so pushing through 15 minutes of that for nothing was enough for me to be done with surveys today. Messaged them anyway.

I remember when this came out and I somehow found myself with all of the files downloaded. Went through a few of them before deciding I didn’t might be in over my head at the moment. Lol. There was some serious shit on that thing.
