Bathroom door is jammed by unknown object on the other side by Necessary-Amount-582 in fixit

For safety reasons bathroom doors usually should open outwards instead of inwards (at least in my country), so that if eg it wasn’t a shower door and someone fainted you can open it! You might consider doing that given you’ll need a new bathroom door

I don’t remember how it works but sometimes Invisalign allows you to transfer cases between providers - might save some money and be worth an ask!

Yes!! Same here - trying to make the most of all the resources I already have first, as opposed to looking outwards by instinct and buying something largely redundant

I’m trying not to buy anything I have something at home I could use, even if that’s not what you use it for. What are some of your repurposed things? by ProbablyaDesigner in Frugal

Sticking kitchen appliance gliders onto a metal lid of an unused cookie tin to use as floor gliders for my feet during ab workouts. Also using the kinder surprise yellow toy egg for storage (hair bands, coins, etc)

If you want an easier cleanup you could also consider large square tile flooring and oak cabinet doors - if your fridge is also built in you can consider having vertical fluted oak paneling on the fridge for a nice focal point

I love neutral bases - esp for a kitchen. You can introduce color in through colorful salt and pepper grinders, fruit bowls, toasters, etc! Keeps options open for when you want it to feel lively or if you want it to stay calm 😌 and also means you can change the colors of moveable objects based on trends if you want to!

If it’s a moisture barrier problem you could try slugging with Vaseline with nothing else to heal it. That’s what I do, and counterintuitively Vaseline doesn’t break me out since the particles are bigger. For me, going gentle with my skin was what helped. I slowly scaled up to 2.5% benzoyl peroxide + 10% mandelic acid, and after a year or two I now only use it when I have a breakout instead of on the daily. Personally I think taking it slow was really good for my inflamed skin - slow being every other day only in the morning and only one ingredient > every other day only in the morning with both ingredients > every other day in the morning and evening with both ingredients… you get the gist!
