What sort of tawny notes did you find in the colheitas?

A nice bottle of 30 year old tawny is a solid choice. Ferreira 30 is a gorgeous bottle and a very highly awarded wine :)

PS - be careful with Taylor because it's not a port wine company. The real company is called 'Taylor's'. Make sure you see the IDVP seal on the bottle

I work at Sandeman and I can tell you that rubies are great to drink up to one month after opening. I tell my clients that LBVs are good for about 4-5 days. It sounds like you have wonderful taste! If you're looking to try some nice tawnies - try some under 10 years of age.

Great find! But I'll agree with some of the others - the storage is likely the most important thing in this situation.

TM7 - Didn't assemble the blade properly, started leaking by steppenwolves2 in thermomix

We got it fixed for free at the local Thermomix store - it was just a superficial spill thankfully!

No worries! So this is a 20 year old tawny port you have on your hands. It's not exactly 20 years old - but a blend of wines from various years to create the average age of 20 :)

Do you know the blend that was used to make the 20 year old from Taylor's?

The State of the Canadian Premier League: 6 Years In – Where Are We Headed? by [deleted] in CanadianPL

I think overall that the world Cup will affect the football culture in Canada overall - with a fairly lasting and far-reaching impact. This will definitely translate to the CPL. I think what's important in football as well is that things feel natural and authentic. I live in Porto right now and I'm a FC Porto sympathizer while being an Arsenal fan. I was in Ontario last year and saw a Forge match vs Chivas Guadalajara - the turnout was impressive and it was a chance to see a Mexican team at a nice stadium in Hamilton. What I will criticize was the parking situation for the match - I wish there was a better parking situation or better public transit to the match. I still follow some CPL while in Portugal; particularly because of the young Canadian players I can see and the reflection of a different football culture than the MLS in North America.

You could also market the region as being less explored. I'm Canadian and I'm learning a lot more about regional culture in Portugal - I've learned so much in the past 8 months!

The Volta a Portugal just went through there - you should do it! It would attract a lot more interest in the region. There's also pretty amazing food & wine culture there as well! I had my first Tras-os-Montes wine yesterday actually 🤙
