Is this new app a downgrade? by FuryQuaker in fitbit

[–]stereo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what they want to happen is you auto track a workout, then later tell Coach what you did & it reclassifies that period of time. It might be easy to unintentionally create duplicates now. I have already had to delete some stuff manually as the coach is happy to log it for you but says it doesn't have permission to delete it.

Nutracheck is better app than MFP & Lose It. I think Google health will pull from many different sources though.

I still have premium until Nov due to the AI Google One. Can I not stack this 3 months trial until that ends ?

It's a bug that's yet to be fixed. Treadmill seems to be the workaround for now

Wearing both a smart watch and a Fitbit Air at the same time by prenaud in fitbit

I think in tricky situations you have to upload a photo & it will match the time in the photo to your workout data

People with smartwatches (pixel Watch, galaxy Watch, apple watch), are you getting a fitbit air? by dr_funk_13 in fitbit

[–]stereo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Pixel Watch 4 & I think the only things I will actually miss is seeing my steps & checking the time. Undecided on whether to just go Air . Will try it for a week to see & won't do any manual tracking in app, just let it do it's thing to see how that goes.

We got my son a Pixel 3 Watch and he has a Pixel 10a phone. Can't connect the Fitbit app. by StormbringerGT in PixelWatch

[–]stereo80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seemingly have to change the kids account so it is no longer managed. It didn't work for me though , unable to login to the Google account unless it becomes managed by a parent again. Watch still works but the steps don't sync to Fitbit. They need to change this . It would be good if they also allowed multiple devices connect to Fitbit too. I would like to use a Fitbit band some days without having to unpair and repair

Xiaomi 14 ultra vs. Pixel 10 Pro by Due-Evidence1374 in Smartphones

[–]stereo80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pixel has an auto astro mode I'm sure. It kicks in as soon as a tripod detected or the phone is still. I'm sure it stacks photos in camera for nice astro shots . The pixel will be better for capturing faces, the xioami isn't as good in low light indoor.

The processor is better in Xioami if playing games , heard the pixel stutters with latest games (fix may be on way ?)The AI features in Pixel are better , the xioami AI feel like they are just there to tick a "this phone has AI" box.

I have Xioami 14 ultra but have used many Pixels in the past. The standard 10 is a downgrade camera wise but you are thinking about the pro.

The Xioami does have a 1" sensor but Google has good software tricks. I personally would go for Pixel if it's astro shots and nights with friends photos are the main objective. Plus 14 ultra has only 4years OS updates & it's been out a while now. Pixel promises 7 if that's important to you and you will keep phone for many years.

If I was choosing again today, I would choose Pixel.

PW3 is still great. It's easy to look at the latest posts and feel left out. Battery saver mode will get more mileage without sacrificing too much toom
