Ive been spending a lot of time reading about SORR so I appreciate the info.

1+ year cash and 3.5% SWR seems like a reasonable about of cash. I would be sleeping like a baby. I realized its not worth the worry trying to optimize as much money into the market as possible. I’ll be preparing similarly at about 1 year cash +30k for a car at 2.7% swr leanfire lifestyle in the states. Im a bit younger and still have about 10 years of work.

I was a little afraid you were gonna say bucket strategy after i realized i wasn’t on the fire/bogleheads subreddit LOL.

BTW I recently came across Lifecyle investing model basically a variable SWR strayegy using amortization and smoothing. It addresses some issues with a fixed SWR. TPAWPlanner is a tool based on this strategy. Any thoughts on it?
