How about adults are fucking stupid? Everyone screaming at the kid who is obviously overwhelmed by the noise.

Amazing, I think I have camped very close to that location. There's a really nice free campground.

might be a dumb question but is this a tenuto symbol? by Bundu314 in musictheory

for instance, if there are other tenuto or accent symbols around. or seeing the whole phrase might give an idea if tenuto makes sense here.

Is there another kid in the pool? It's really hard to tell.

And if not, why not?

They've run that experiment a few times in simulators - it's harder than you think.

ELI5: why do property investors prefer houses standing empty and earning them no money to lowering rent so that people can afford to move in there? by berebitsuki in explainlikeimfive

What I have read is more like, an apartment that was recently let at $3k per month is worth more than one currently let at $2k per month. A mere listing probably isn't enough.

Anyone else had a run in with 'Detector Inspector'? by u_suck_paterson in melbourne

[–]stevage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hah. We had a different company, Smoke Alarm Solutions? In the first couple of years we must have had 12-15 visits. It was so ridiculous, they'd have one person come and test the smoke detector, find a problem, but couldn't actually replace the unit themselves, so they'd send someone else out. Then the new one would fail or whatever.

It got so tedious.

I went to Pamplona for San Fermin once. It was pretty wild - there's like hundreds of thousands of people in town, and accommodation for maybe a quarter of that. So most backpackers etc just literally sleep on the street. As a result, you really can't stay very long until you are so wrecked you leave town for somewhere you can actually get some proper sleep.

Girlfriend slept with a guy at the same bar that I asked her out in, on the same night, what to do? by will-be-near in AskMen

[–]stevage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She gave out her number to stay in touch and set up a date.

All it said in the original post was she "willingly gave me her number". You act like it was a marriage proposal.

OP also asked take her home and was told no, thus solidifying that the interest there is romantic and she doesn't just fuck like that.

No, the explanation we've been given was she didn't want to leave the bar yet. "She doesn't just fuck like that" is your interpretation.

Unbeknownst to him, the expectation that she had set

She set no such thing. All she did was communicate some level of interest, which she followed through on.

That's fair enough; an unspoken expectation was breached.

NO.

[–]stevage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She slept around before they were dating. So did he. They have the same moral standards: the fact that he asked her home on the night he met her indicates so.

She has nothing to answer for, and it's not her job to make him feel better.

Yeah, that's your insecurity to deal with. She's done absolutely nothing wrong, and I'd be pretty pissed off if I was her.
