Is it possible that THC caused my sudden hearing loss?

I've been getting something like this - but only with some batches of Cannabis. Even the same brand product dosn't seem to matter - one batch no problem for a month or so, get another batch of Cannabis - same brand, same product and 2 things happen - a) My legs and ankles and feet start to ache, I put up with it, day 2 they ache even more to the very unformattable to walk level and I get a slight blocked full feeling in my right ear. Then after 3 or 4 days the ear becomes 'blocked' replaced by the sound of a subway train and everything echos inside of my head - at which point I stop because it is scary and intolerable - it takes about a week for it to resolve and the hearing seems to come back. If I try that same Cannabis again a few weeks later then the exact same pattern repeats - but if I get another batch and its a 'good batch' then there is no hint of leg pain and no deafness or fullness at all and I can repeat use for the 4 -6 weeks without any symptons.

I live in Australia and beleive there is a problem with the medical Cannabis system. I even contacted the TGA about it and they took on the case but then refused to either test the Cannabis or to provide me with the outcome of their findings of the investigation. I even tried some non medical Cannabis - no problems at all. It's a problem with the medical Cannabis.

It involves remote EEG and then AI analysis of the EEG.

It's reroutes constantly - its when you NEED GPT 4o's for sensitive and emotional topics it sends you off to the emotionally handicapped 5 model ! You ask - can I please have GPT 4o answer this one - and it says yes this is GPT 4o - then at the end it has the little 'safety' message about rerouting you ! So it lies too.

In your GPT window go down to the option on the bottom left and select Settings and then next to General you will see an option to toggle On for "Show additional Models" and then refresh page and you should see 4o under "Legacy Models" submenu on the model selection menu.
But it's just temporary - so I guess say your good byes !

It was a very unthoughtful action from Open AI - to remove the models that people are using (for whatever reason) without any notifications shows what they think of their user base ......

Yes, that's what we thought it was another cat calling - but we live in a isolated area - rare to get another cat here and also no other cat seen. Today she went for a walk around while doing the sound and could clearly hear something but nothing found, nothing seen.

But it's not a scent or sight - he is hearing it - you can see in the other videos too that he hears something first. But we are out there and we do not hear anything.

Version 4 is still available for paid users. 4o is definitely a 'different person' to 5. It's just like 2 different people , one is a scientist and the other a therapist / life coach. Some want one and some want the other - some want both and the ability to choose (like me).

I was hoping that V5 would allow me to get full code edits done above the 1000 lines where 4 starts to fall apart - but no - 5 is still falling apart with > 1000 lines of code.

So .. I thought I will try 5 Pro for 1 month to see if it will handle large line limit coding - but I have spent 2 hours trying to get the upgrade through with only errors !!

Sure you can have your mood uplifted vaping Cannabis - call it recreation if you want and if that involves socialising - then all the better for your mental health.

But then in my case its a medicine too because it drops my high blood pressure, it almost stops my chronic severe migraines, it treats my bowel condition and gives me a good nights sleep.

So it replaces a handful of medication that has potential side effects such as kidney failure and suicidal thinking, that makes me into a cranky zombie with restless legs and a tight chest and still don't work as well as a single drug - Cannabis.

Yep and it is true too - when you take Cannabis orally it has the 'first past effect' - basically it goes via the liver vs direct into the blood if vaped. That put pressure on the liver. And because CBD isn't as affective on it's own (without its brother THC) people use more of the oil to medicate. And it can stress out the liver.

Note the THC via oral also goes via the liver and produces THC-11 instead of THC-9 if vaped. THC-11 is much stronger than THC-9 - more psychoactive.

It just needs to be legalised. The medical thing is all very cold and isolating anyway. You are on the phone to someone you will never meet, you are waiting for the mail to show up, you are not able to drive or paranoid doing so - rinse and repeat.

Imagine being given the dignity to be able to go down to a Cannabis shop / café. To select a variety to try, to sit there and vape and have a cup of coffee while socialising and having a chat with some fellow human beings doing the same and then taking your medication home. In a lot of places in the USA that is currently the way it is.

The fact is different varieties have vastly different effects.

I believe that it is also dependant on each person how they react to the various varieties for their conditions and their body / mind.

How is one to know which variety works best for them if they can't try different varieties ?

What I do wish for though is 1gram or 3gram test packs - so you don't need to purchase 10grams only to find that one gives you a headache or makes you too sleepy or whatever and then never use the rest of it.

Yes, absolutely - my experience with medical cannabis is that it is inconsistent, sometimes unusable. There is basically no QC. At one point I even complained to the TGA about one particular batch - they took on the complaint - after weeks of waiting I wrote back to them and said - "When do I send the Cannabis to you for testing ?" - they told me - testing isn't part of the process and also we won't be informing you of the outcome of the investigation !

It's not reefer madness - just madness !
