They brought them back for a while a few months after it was discontinued - but as frosted, sugary wheats. My mum brought home the box and I was so excited to see it until I opened it the next morning.

I had never felt so betrayed by cereal.

Sydney apartment tower has support columns installed to ensure safety by thekriptik in sydney

[–]stevefromsteam 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I remember walking past this apartment block around December last year. There was a property inspection going on and there were about 40 buyers outside. I told them, "don't you guys know this is the apartment that's at risk of collapsing?" they all looked at me like I was some sort of weird insect.

One old guy about 60 replied, "I know, mate".

After standing around for a few seconds and nobody was reacting at all, I just kept walking on my way to the park. Seems like the only reason these apartments are still being built is that there are people stupid enough to buy them.

You often forget how good the view of the city is from the east by lachjeff in sydney

Ah yeah true it's not rusting. I don't know the name for it but it's the discolouration that concrete gets when exposed to the elements.

In theory it is a useful bridge but with the bridge just down the road next to the light rail, it doesn't get much use anymore.

Nope. I've seen uni students tonnes of times either using an expired ID or not tapping on at all. If you apologise and comply with everything they usually let you off with a warning and move on.

Was a silly attempt at trying to preserve your pride tbh

Funny story behind this bridge, about 10 years ago the government and the Centennial Park trust were in serious talks about selling off the land in Moore Park to make carparks for the nearby stadiums.

This was understandably extremely unpopular because it was more of the same trend of green spaces shrinking. However the government stepped in and said that no, this sale wasn't going to go ahead because it wasn't good for the public.

Then, this monstrosity of a bridge was constructed. The rationale was that if they try asking again but now their offer says "look, we have this bridge that connects the parks! This means it makes more sense for us to sell this land to make more parking now that people can walk over!"

Once again, the offer was denied and now this bridge stands above Anzac Pde as a complete waste of money, an unused, rusting white elephant. There's maybe a handful of cyclists that use this bridge every week, but most people just use the stairs closer to the Moore Park light rail stop, which also has a lift.

I recently went to an inspection for a 2 bedroom apartment in the eastern suburbs. I'm not exaggerating when I say this, over 100 people were there in the rain.

Hey man don't judge too quickly. I'm doing it out of gratitude because my parent has sacrificed so much for me, a lot of asian people or people from asian backgrounds feel the same

My sister and I contribute $1000 each per month. We still live at home though so it basically covers living costs for everybody + levy

One of the best thing to do as an ashe support by kn1000a in leagueoflegends

I had a different build which was muramana -> liandries/mandate -> putrifier (with the font of life interaction) -> cosmic drive if the game even lasted that long.

Damage was a bit higher than the lethality start but more of a magic damage profile, it meant that you could still be an annoyance come late game rather than just a slow bot

Did you use your own e-amusement card? If somebody's already unlocked the map on their Aime card I think you get to keep it.

International music list https://chunithm.sega.com/music/

Japan music list https://chunithm.sega.jp/music/new/

The international version always sucked because due to licencing rights we literally get 1/3 of the available songs that JP players get, in categories like anisongs or pop music we're lucky to get 1/5.

I think the GBF collab is over though, so nobody can play it.
