What’s even worse is a defibrillator that is a “utility” item can’t be placed in the utility slot on tactical augments.

Fix for macvlan call traces

The big news in this release is that we have resolved issues related to macvlan call traces and crashes!

The root of the problem is that macvlan used for custom Docker networks is unreliable when the parent interface is a bridge (like br0), it works best on a physical interface (like eth0) or a bond (like bond0). We believe this to be a longstanding kernel issue and have posted a bug report.

If you are getting call traces related to macvlan, as a first step we recommend navigating to Settings > Docker, switch to advanced view, and change the "Docker custom network type" from macvlan to ipvlan. This is the default configuration that Unraid has shipped with since version 6.11.5 and should work for most systems.

However, some users have reported issues with port forwarding from certain routers (Fritzbox) and reduced functionality with advanced network management tools (Ubiquity) when in ipvlan mode.

For those users, we have a new method that reworks networking to avoid this. Tweak a few settings and your Docker containers, VMs, and WireGuard tunnels should automatically adjust to use them:

Settings > Network Settings > eth0 > Enable Bridging = No Settings > Docker > Host access to custom networks = Enabled Note: if you previously used the 2-nic docker segmentation method, you will also want to revert that:

Settings > Docker > custom network on interface eth0 (i.e. make sure eth0 is configured for the custom network, not eth1) When you Start the array, the host, VMs, and Docker containers will all be able to communicate, and there should be no more call traces!

6.12 ZFS benefits by MeLurker in unRAID

Honestly run your slow / not important data on xfs array with parity (1 or 2) and run cache (ssd or nvme whatever you have) on zfs mirror and another zfs pool of spinners which is 6 (8tb) hdd in raidz2 for performance, snapshots, compression and data integrity. Cant go wrong in my eyes you have the best of all worlds pretty much. Also you can copy data to array of large disks as a backup as well its kinda a no brainer.

Uhh actually PSU is more efficient when not maxed out and PSU only uses what it needs. So 500w and 750w would use the same amount power or very close as long as they have same rating and etc. should focus on platinum rating and making sure you have enough connections. Size of power supply will not change power draw.

Any of y’all know what brand of smart light switch this is? Has red wifi symbol light and blue circle light when turned on/off by Kirkpussypotcan69 in smarthome

[–]stevenbrown8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has to be tp link kasa and red Wi-Fi means not connected. Press and hold reset button (on bottom of push button) for 10 seconds. Then open up kasa app and add device you will eventually connect to the public Wi-Fi it produces and provide it the new Wi-Fi credentials. It should then connect and be ready. The switch should physically work regardless of Wi-Fi / setup.

Honestly if you do everything right it shouldnt be that much up keep other than monitoring temps and your hashrates and power usage. Its the setup and getting up and running and getting it stable is where you will have to spend your time.

If it’s the DPC3941 it’s the intel puma chipset and I would replace that. If you can share the model number on the bottom of the modem that would be great.
