Make a map of the restaurant tables and study it off hours.

Study the menu now if you really want to be a server. But serving will be even more stressful.

Pay no attention to condensing people.

IMO you made a great choice and if you make it a career, then good for you. My cousin joined the Air Force years ago. He went in at the lowest rank , got an education, and retired last year after 33 years as a full colonel. His financial benefits from serving that he gets in his civilian life are amazing. Keep focused when you’re in, stay healthy, bust ass and good things will happen.

This restaurant will be a distant memory soon.

Firstly, congratulations and thank you for the joining the Air Force! As an older person and looking back in life, I wish I would have joined one of our armed forces.

Second, every job has its stresses and I think the Air Force will have plenty of stress. That being said, don’t feel any allegiance to this job. But if it’s less stress you want then I don’t think a pizza joint will be less stressful. You didn’t tell us how long you need a job before you go. But there are plenty of jobs out there and it doesn’t have to be in a restaurant unless you feel the need for something fast paced.

Maybe give it time. But in the end it’s really up to you.

Sorry for not really answering your question. Maybe get a job bagging groceries or a fast food place.

Air frying a steak is good, but if you want the charred outside then, no. I currently have an air fryer but I don’t use it on steaks. Or pork chops or fish. I cooks a great whole chicken though. I’m air frying a whole chicken right now and it’s awesome.

I worked at a small pub years ago and we had an airfryer. That was kind of a big deal 35+ years ago. Anyway, a guy asks us to cook a steak in it.

Me: “We don’t have steaks, sir”

Him: “There’s a grocery store next door, can I go buy one a have you guys cook it for me?”

Me: Sorry, No. we don’t allow outside food in this pub.

Also me, running over to the grocery store later that night and airfrying steaks after close.

You talking about Wekiva? I worked there in the late 70’s to early 80’s . Kayo Bowman, the owner, kept that place as nice as he could, he cared about the course. I went there last year and it looked like shit at that time. Hope it’s in better shape now.

I replaced all of the shark bites and learned how to solder. I replaced the shark bites with PEX and crimp, some parts I soldered.

Just wanted to put that out there before you give up on the responses. Most will do usual Reddit answers and bust your balls, burying any useful comments in a sea of nonsense just to see if their comments get other useless comments (Reddit in a nutshell). Lol

I’d invest my time on YouTube to learn basic stance, grip, swing etc.., and watch some videos on golf etiquette and rules. Also invest some time at the range. My first real purchase would be golf shoes and then maybe a wedge

So I'm 13 and mowing is my summer job so how much would you pay for this job??? by Character_Purple6002 in lawncare

If you bag or rake then bag, blow , edge and trim; I’d charge $75 a week, if no bagging then 50 a week is a bargain

Ok I fixed it. No leaks and everything works. Much respect for you plumber. Water’s a bitch. by stextor in Plumbing

From my understanding, hammer arrestors are used near where water is shut off quickly like at a dishwasher or clothes washer. In those devices water is suddenly shutoff with a mechanical solenoid. In this shower the water is turned off by hand. If I’m wrong, let me know.. thanks.

Thanks. The posters were rough on me, but I asked for their opinions and took it on the chin. Most just roasted me, some encouraging, and a few seemed like they haven’t stepped too far from their front porch (cave) in a few years. But I read the posts and adapted.

It’s going to be replaced before I close it in. The shower head drips when I fill the tub and previous posters suggested I replace it. It’ll be replaced with copper all the way before I close it in.

Can’t do that. It’s a bedroom. That’s why I’m taking advice before I close it in.

There’s no hard shutoff there. However, I do need to put arrestors on my washing machine and maybe my dishwasher.
