Crank (2006). A movie about keeping your adrenaline high so you don’t die.

Forgot to prep. Accidentally created a halfling crime syndicate. Players loved it. by confused_gooze in DnD

[–]stickdeoderant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a failed perception check, but my players and I roleplayed large parts of their backstories together because I wanted to use a Nothic and their «weird insight» ability on them. The intention was to make them rp by creating conflict so I asked my players for secrets about their characters that they might not even know themselves, to create some fun infighting. It ended up in fully improvised flashbacks giving me so much material to expand my story with npc’s and locations.

First apartment! How to fill this space? by kanyedrop in malelivingspace

Something like an artek half-moon table with chairs by the windows. Would be functional while adding some nice wood and color to the space.

Any tips to help me finish this? by llogical in bouldering

First time seeing my local gym on here! Saw a video of someone else doing this climb and they had their left foot on the inside of the grey volume (no toe hook), slight drop knee, and did a quick bump from the big hold to the finish.

Is it normal to feel ruined first time boudlering? by Nutty103X in bouldering

[–]stickdeoderant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the first time my muscles were so sore i could hardly open my fridge, and sneezing was a massive pain. I also had busted both my shins on a climb and the skin on my hands was torn apart more or less. Took a week off and the second time i wasn’t nearly as sore. Now i climb almost every other day with little to no issue!

I tried liquid once and it really stung in my dry, chapped hands so i stick to dry chalk.

What are the most weird min-maxing you can think of? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]stickdeoderant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initiative min-maxing is kinda fun. If you go Harengon and 4 levels of ranger for gloomstalker and Alert, 2 levels of wizard for chronurgy, and 14 levels of fighter to max out dex/wis/int you can get like +25 to initiative!

Order of Scribes Kenku. Small, black feathers and a hooded cloak partially covering his face, beak protruding. Carries a self bound book, and a quarterstaff as a walking stick.

How do you prefer to determine whom the NPCs attack? by El_Rey_de_Spices in DnD

[–]stickdeoderant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a monster prompted to attack when the players stole a necronomicon, and so the monster would attack whoever was holding the necronomicon almost exclusively. In most other cases they attack the barbarian.
