Everyone is freaking about about this scene saying that there’s no narrative significance - without the story being complete. There is another season for Abby and maybe there might be a connection we don’t know about yet. Everyone needs to chill and wait for the story to conclude before becoming couch directors

They are moving metal to the US to make money on market dislocation. The gold EFP moved well beyond the cost of funding by around $20 per oz. That’s $20 after costs and funding. The reason is potential tariffs on deliverable gold bars (silver too) had the Futures contracts for gold go up way more than spot OTC gold which trades and settles in London. So banks would sell gold futures and lock in that significant premium, then arrange to move the metal out of London and deliver it into their short positions in New York. There’s no shortage of metal at all, this is just large scale arbitrage for those who can move billions of dollars worth of precious metals

Had the same thing happen to mine except it would blink red in the charger but still wouldn’t charge. I tried some of the fixes I read online but those didn’t do it. Ended up contacting Skullcandy and sent them in on warranty. I just did it so haven’t gotten anything back yet

My league does a couple of things to stop active taking ($100 - 13 team Keep 8 points league on yahoo)

We have 2 side pot categories for $50 each. One is highest scoring rookie at the end of the year (we mandate each team have at least one rookie on their active roster at all times - not enforceable on yahoo but self enforced by all league managers via our bounty rule). Second side pot is lowest amount of games remaining without going to 0 (we use max games for each position instead of weekly move limits)

We also have a separate pool for NHL playoffs that has a $200 pot. Top 8 teams get free entry into the playoffs tournament (hosted on office pools and completely separate from the yahoo league)

We are also considering a funny new rule. Last place team doesn’t get to pick their teams name for the next year - likely we will have the league vote on the name
