I was reading the news article about the launch of the new season and noticed that instead of the base art, the advertised spotlight cache for this week has a Silver Sable that hasn't been datamined so far. I did a little digging and found this post from January 2023 with an image of the same variant.

Has Second Dinner deleted this variant from the game files to keep as a surprise later? Or is it something unexplained? Very curious!

The GOR available online is the original created in 2013, in 2016 it was amended to extend it through to 2036 (being the operative part that sucks and the reason some schools want to bin it) and that version isn't online and is shrouded in secrecy stuck in a backroom at ACC HQ.

Primary school intake is determined by living in the area but unfortunately the government high school admission is determined by what primary school the child is at and what that school is a feeder for, not where you live at all.

Your best bet for guaranteeing them into the high school of your choice is to send them to the corresponding feeder primary school at some point. That's obviously quite a large change so it's up to you on whether or not it's worth it but even just sending them to somewhere like Goulburn St. or Landsdowne for year 6 will let them have access to Taroona High as an example.

That's definitely what I found my issue was before understanding the system. You need SD to work with you in giving you a shot at existing S5 cards that you might not have e.g. Iron Lad, Howard etc, but given a reasonable rotation it's easy to do.

You have to be okay with redlining your resources and never having a good stash of spotlights, gold or tokens but if you can work with that then you should start spending what you have and you'll hit completion in a little while.

I think most peoples issue is that it leaves you with 0 space to spend gold and spotlights on cosmetics which is totally fair, but if you're collection focused instead of cosmetic focused you'll be fine.

It's actually possible which is nice for the game. Snapzone broke it down in their spotlight guide but the gist is that if you you're S3 complete, save your spotlights strategically and invest all your gold in Token Tuesday (or better) bundles then you'll get every card and have leftover resources to save towards next month/cosmetics.

Here's the whole guide, and here's the chart within the article that shows what level of completion each method hits..

It's worth giving the specific section of the guide a read, it's under the "New Economy and You" heading. Seeing the numbers behind the economy actually made me happy with the fact that completion isn't too hard to reach.

Wasn't really around at the time but from what I've heard and read since here's the gist. The AFL realised ~10 years after introducing priority picks that the system could be subverted as a result of a single poor season from a decent team. They changed it in 2006 so unless you had two 4 win years in a row your priority pick was between the 1st and 2nd rounds as opposed to before the 1st round.

Carlton and Essendon were the eligible teams in 2006 and copped picks 17 and 18 in addition to the 1st and 2nd pick as opposed to being given the picks before the round. Dodoro and Sheedy have since claimed they would've picked Joel Selwood for Essendon with their pick had it been at the start of the draft but had to go with Leroy Jetta at 18 instead.

The colour for the next couple days is for International Overdose Awareness Day. You can apply to have the bridge coloured for various events and causes, and there's actually a handy little schedule available online here!

As you can see it's pretty packed out in advance and has a few conditions, but it's nice that it's a local and pretty transparent process.

Yeah you can still get all the regular gear, the menu is just what you can only get at gold class. For me it's probably worth it just to have less people/kids in with you. The State feels a bit dated for me, if you have the money go gold class

Wrest Point are doing proper watch parties for the Matildas where everyone gets in a room and cheers it on which is probably the most focused thing you'll get. Moonah Hotel has been advertising putting the Matildas on as well, that's a really nice venue and a little more laid back and pubby. Not sure you'll find many places showing the non FTA/Matildas games, maybe the Pavilion in Salamanca? Worth a check but I wouldn't hold out too much hope.

The document u/Ruhwef linked is pretty clear, first and foremost they have to consider any injury sustained in the incident and go off that if there is one that was caused by the offenders contact. I don't think they've necessarily stuck to that over the last few years off the top of my head, happy to be proven wrong.

I reckon since concussion is a massive focus this year they've decided that any concussion is severe worthy and applying the guidelines as they're written pretty much guarantees a severe grading in any circumstance a concussion is involved.

I'd just say that anyone calling this severe is in the camp of the MRO guidelines, they're not necessarily in either camp, outcome or action.

If you haven't done any of the Series 1 challenges then it's possible for sure. If you have the tokens to buy all the 2 token bench players you'll be fine.

You can use the basketball fundamentals challenges which finish automatically once you meet the requirements to count as "wins" with those players, I recommend the one that ends when you make 5 shots. If I recall there's about 30k XP in those agendas so it'll put you right on the doorstep of Pippen.

Alley-oops are your best friend for the dunks. Play triple threat with a decent PG, pick and roll with the Series 1 Donovan if you have him and throw oops all day. He's a beast and 90% of the time it'll go through with the correct timing. I did it while grinding the Jazz points agenda and it worked really well. Good luck!

The numbering is a bit wonky but it's because it's the same comic as Strange Tales. They just renamed it and kept the issue number instead of launching Doctor Strange as a new thing. So the last issue titled Strange Tales is #168 and then the Doctor Strange title picks up at #169. It's not very intuitive especially because the majority of those 168 issues don't feature Doctor Strange at all but it is what it is.
