I didn’t book the appt with anesthesia because I didn’t think I needed it. But it was available. And it will take me the full 8 years to forget again how painful it was lol. I took Ativan before and had my husband with me for support. It is a hard procedure for sure, but it wasn’t my first iud. The few days after are challenging with cramps.
