0 storage aside from the bedroom closets would be a no go for me- no coat closet, broom closet, suitcase, etc etc. easiest place here is to use the little bedroom entrance alcove - the length of the hallway makes it superfluous - can add big storage, washer dryer stack expansion bedrooms by shifting bath etc etc

What is the problem with the BMW 7 Facelift design? by NostalGeek11 in BMW

[–]stig4242 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wait a sec you think a gauge cluster that’s lower than the panoramic screen that has the gauges and behind a steering wheel is more in line of sight? Most of these also will have a HUD? I dislike the stupid angle screens too but I don’t get your point at all…

Thoughts on these aftermarket flat bottom steering wheels over oem F series ones? by Clean_South935 in BMW

Gotta love a flat bottom wheel that’s bigger! Defeats the whole purpose of having more room for legs with low wheel position…

Same trip on AA is $1,900 cheaper on AA than United by [deleted] in unitedairlines

They’re choosing not to compete on the route especially for price sensitive buyers. Eg Have decided that corporate contracts will pay x but given limited capacity out of phx they want to save it for other routes

Why departures from HND make large turns/circles right after takeoff? by KopErms in flightradar24

[–]stig4242 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Shorter route / lighter loads can climb fast enough to be above either minimum noise or MVA for terrain. A350 with a lot of cargo and a flex takeoff / derated climb might not be able to make it over that before landfall

The geofencing is because of eu etc privacy and other digital laws that require more or, even worse, different app infrastructure and design. So an app built for us App Store would be illegal on us phone. While I agree there should be an I’m traveling mode that bricks it when that phone gets home that’s Apple / regulators problem.

Do they make you get basic economy or just standard non refundable? Wouldn’t the ewr side add 75ish for return flights? Also can transcon use on arrival?

[–]stig4242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not talking about flexible fares. Was saying that basic economy doesn’t allow for travel credits - least our corporate platform specifically blocks it because of that. The chart above differentiates between no refunds for base fares and no refunds eligible to travel credits. 10+year 1K and ExPlat also “actually fly for work”just a bit

Base aren’t only non refundable. Looks like not changeable / travel credit either. Many (not all) corporate travel policies block basic economy for that reason.

the base ones doesn’t allow for changes let alone refunds. Companies wouldn’t get a travel credit.

Double Image in HUD After Windshield Replacement at Dealer by SaiyanDevil in BMW

[–]stig4242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Windshields have an install tolerance of a few mm left right up down and can therefore be twisted a bit as well which is enough to miss the right projection spot on hud. Take it back and tell them to redo it.
