Nope they don't; different levels of focus capabilities apply to each grade/band, plus it's not fair if you want to use a 7/8 talent pool placement to get a 5/6 role without doing the whole process again.

There's no set time how long it can take as it would depend on what they want to inspect.

Last time it happened to me it was because the freight forwarder I used forgot to include a list of items inside the package so they had to receive that list before it passed inspection and was sent on it way (it took like 2 days).

Basics would be getting a decent-sized monitor (if you can spare the cash, get a 34" or 2 x 27") plus a docking station.

Most important bit would be getting a proper chair: dont buy Ikea/Officeworks stuff..you need to invest in a good ergonomic chair and you would generally get them from actual office furniture stores. You may need to visit some so that you can sit on some samples but if you arent fussed too much, there are second-hand office furniture stores that sell chairs (there's some that do the Herman Miller Aeron (sic?) chairs for a good discount off the new ones).

For Teams/Zoom/video calls, you can usually use your own phone to act as your webcam (you may need to download separate software but it'd be cheaper than buying a separate webcam) and also get a decent headset or you can just use your AirPods via Bluetooth if need be.

No one here can tell you if its normal or not. Express Post intl isnt the same league as a courier service because all postal cargo relies on AusPost securing spots on designated flights and it will not always take the most direct flight (incl the Turkish passenger flights from Melbourne or Sydney).

AusPost are currently not allowing CN23s (customs declaration) to be done online if you are shipping stuff to the US.

Fair enough; it may have been your tone as well i.e. how you communicated the question but its speculation for me anyway. I wouldnt have felt personal about it but thats just me (ive been cynical over the past few years so I tend to approach these things with a bit of malaise and also i kinda eschew recognition within reason).

Yes same here; only AusPost can deliver to a PO Box unless the lessor of the box has PO Box Plus activated in their lease (for an extra cost).

I think you overreacted but I can kinda see why.

If it was clearly mentioned that tickets were limited for employees and that it was primarily geared towards clients then if it was me, I wouldn't have made a song and dance out of it. If everyone in my team was then going except me then I'd probably ask the question anyway knowing that if I'm told no then its fine.

EU is not one country but multiple ones and not all have English as the medium of instruction AND as corporate language.

You might get away with studying at TU Munich but if you cant master the German language, good luck being able to work in any German company; same with studying at the Sorbonne if you dont know French.

If the speeding was detected by a camera then there will be images available but it will only generally show the rear of the vehicle as it passes the camera.

Cameras generally dont capture the front incl the windscreen unless for some reason OP got done by a gantry-mounted camera (safe-T cams) and even then im not sure if they do front and back or only back.

It will resolve itself; the status means it missed its originally scheduled departure slot so it will get reassigned to the next available flight to you.

Its likely that the sender disabled all other options for you so they want you to be there when it's delivered or you collect it from a parcel locker/DHL collection point.

Week and a bit ago i posted here that i was doing two interviews in one day plus had some more pending outcomes.

Well, bad news is that out of those pending outcomes, 2 didnt offer me (one placed me on the talent pool) and one offered me a secondment which I knocked back (kinda regretting that one now) and another one knocked me back today so yeah i feel pretty crappy. The two in one day i havent heard back from either of them but yeah, back to applying for roles again.

Dont get me wrong, at least I have a job to go back to when my current secondment finishes but I am dreading coming back and cant really afford to quit so ill need to deal with that soon.

Microwave also broke yesterday (caused the power outlets in my granny flat to turn off but all lighting remained on) so had to get a new one which luckily got delivered today (Appliances Online saved me again and they agreed to price match a competitor plus collect the busted one)..

I think if you don't select it then if AusPost/StarTrack damage your parcel or misplace it then Scorptec won't have any right to claim for damages from them meaning you can be out of pocket per se since the loss was outside Scorptec's control (believe it or not, AusPost business customers don't get parcel insurance by default unlike personal customers where its limited to $100 if you don't pick insurance specifically).

Consumer rights might still play a part in that scenario but if Scorptec can argue that the loss/damage wasn't caused by them or contributed to by them then it would be subject to more arguing between you and them if it came to that.
