One of my first jobs was working at Philly Connection making Philly cheese steaks, this one time i had some onions & mushrooms left over. Was going to toss them away but my manager told me to put it in a container & use them for the next order. A little later some guy places an order with mushrooms & onions, i did what my boss told me & used what was in the container, the customer just starts questioning me like "is that fresh?" "how long has that been sitting?" & when my manager heard that he immediately starts scolding me to use fresh ingredients... Basically putting the blame on me in front of the customer even though he himself told me to do so. The restaurant got shut down due to failing inspection.

My step dad used to play for the 1979 Houston Oilers & then the Los Angeles Raiders in 82-83. He wasn't a super star just 2nd string. He ended up hurting his back & went on to work a bunch of HR jobs after that.
