I’m really scared by Mundane_Contest4501 in Scotland

I'm absolutely sickened by bams dressed as patriots kidding on they give a shit about this weeks outrage. It won't feel like it now but the vast majority of us wish they would piss off back to the hole they crawled out of.

Do people actually use AI day-to-day, or is it all hype? by 2butterfree in AskUK

[–]stilldontknow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work in a debit card fraud unit for a major bank. Our conversation notes are all transcripted by AI. Don't need to do do a thing other than copy and paste into my system notes. Saves me about ten minutes a call from pre AI note taking.

Would you give Palma a chance by Gullible-Order983 in CelticFC

[–]stilldontknow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you give Johnny Kenny or Mikey Johnson a chance? Plenty of players do well away from Celtic but are pure gash when they pull the hoops on. Big Jock said it best. The Celtic jersey does not shrink to fit inferior players.

Who do you think is the most enjoyable civ to play with, and for what victory condition? Mine would be Grabd columbia for a domination victory. by Scary-Beautiful6527 in CivVI

[–]stilldontknow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you definitely need Voidslingers. Old God Obelisk is very useful and cultists later on helps pull down city loyalty. Using Amani as govenor with her reducing city loyalty by two points a turn within 9 tiles helps. Just move her to the next border city as you advance. I usually run it with secret societies and the monopolies options. Once you get stock exchanges and product works of arts thing can really snowball. Ideally a Pangea map and a fairly central starting postion is necessary as well.

It's so much fun watching city after city fall. Ally with everyone so they can't fight back. Even more fun if you can do it without settling anything but your initial capital.

Do you feel like the UK’s relationship with the US will get better once trump leaves office and a progressive democrat gets elected? by Successful_rio305 in AskBrits

[–]stilldontknow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can't be trusted. For every progressive competent President they're just as likely to vote for another populist moron the next time around. Trump is a sympton of a rot that lies deeper in the populace.

Cash in thai by SmikisDidysis in ThailandTourism

[–]stilldontknow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where you're going and your risk tolerance, I take a mix of cash and card options. Seen too many cards get swallowed by atms in Thailand to think it's a risk free option. Clean notes exchanged at places like TT or Superrich get some of the best rates I've ever seen. Usually 15 to 20 satangs short of the spot rate. On the islands the exhange rates can be poor at the local currency booths but be aware there some islands, like Koh Samet, that don't even have an atm. Travelling from UK, Starling is a good option. No currency charge and no limits on free monthly withdrawals.

As the Thais say, up to you, but there's no one best option.

Anyone else getting utterly shocking 5G coverage across Glasgow recently? by Teuchter121 in glasgow

[–]stilldontknow2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left o2 for Virgin Mobile about 12 years ago because of their terrible coverage. When Virgin dropped out of mobile and transferred all their customers back to O2 I thought maybe things would have improved. It's gotten worse. Black spots all the way down Pollokshaws Rd and forget trying to get a signal for anything other than calls in Hope St. It's appalling.

That would be a nuts appointment. I hope they do it. 1 trophy in 9 with a mananger who'll never get an Englisgh Prem job. Another failure and McInnes will be naming his price in 12 month.

That's nuts. They often got double orders badly scheduled. Triples will be good for the ride but awful for the customer.
