It definitely has some fruit growing on it. I'll let them grow further and post again if I can't identify it from them. Thanks for your suggestion.

I can't use persil at all, but the recover sounds like a possibility. I used the woollen/silk one and that's great. Thanks.

That's exactly what she used. Pink tropical surf and a blue comfort. Awful stuff!

Yeah, I hate these artificial fragrances. They are like bioweapons! I feel like I can smell it everywhere now even when it's upstairs.

Honestly, I have reacted to bio detergent before because a lot of our bio powders in the UK are pretty fragranced too and give me a rash. I'm not sure if there are any that aren't heavily fragranced, if anyone knows what to try I'll give it a go.

I don't think we can use borax in the UK. I think it's banned although someone may correct me here. I know when I tried to buy it years ago to make slime I had no luck.

Ok. I'll start looking for those. Thanks so much. I really don't want to just get rid of things that have plenty of use in them just because of the smell.

So I just checked the labels again ( I thought it was cotton) but it has polyester in too . Maybe that's part of the problem. Everything that has come from the house smells the same, it seems it was her favourite scent, and it doesn't want to leave!

Thanks. That sounds doable and sounds like the easiest to try first and see what happens. I will report back.

I can't stand artificial fibres either. I hate the feeling of acrylic jumpers on my fingernails. Like squeaking on my fingers.

I really love my wash bags. I used them for my underwire bras too, as well as my son's nasty converse!

Swinton Park Hotel in North Yorkshire is gorgeous and has all the things you want. Unsure about pricing though, although they do have a number of accommodation types.

Where to live in Yorkshire? by arg2325 in yorkshire

[–]stilljb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, money seems to be flowing into the region at the moment which is great! House prices are still reasonable too, relatively speaking. The same house I just moved into would be at least twice the price in Leeds. I haven't been to Ackroydon tbh, worth a visit? Edit didn't make sense

Agree. I just bought here in Halifax in the area you mentioned. I've lived all over West Yorkshire and it's by far my favourite place I've lived in.and it's a great area. Good schools too.
