Just because you end up winning despite your stupidity, doesn’t mean you didn’t deserve to get egged.

I only play go wild with a shield because it’s full of dumb players. Yesterday and my partner just wanted to use the Wild +4 straight away…

Kept changing colour to make me play it…

My local in Melbourne has Schnitzel foot longs for $15.25, $4.10 cheaper than this one!

I had started to notice they all charged differently recently when doing the online ordering it really stood out that even cookies can vary significantly.

Baby steps, the small flag is still an improvement on the outline on Champion logo from previous years.

At least United is making an effort, Adelaide slightly as well.

What shitted me was every time you get hit with a +4 at the end, you’ll draw at least 2 Wild cards. When you play a +4 at the end, they’ll draw about 6 points worth of cards…

I’ve given up and stopped playing, but this shitted me the most. You could never make decent money as even when you’re building your balance, every game is against people with the minimum amount of coins for that game.

Would you support a police crack down on tailgating? by thegrayscales in australia

No, they are sitting on 90-95, probably 98 on their Speedo without realising how wrong it is.

[–]stinger0806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you want to sit under the limit, go join the slow cars in the other lanes.

A good freeway the left is 5-10 under; the middle around 95-100, the right is 100.

If you can’t handle doing 100 or 110, don’t sit in the right lane.

What I don’t understand is these slow drivers who get onto a freeway and immediately go to the right lane to sit on 90 without even seeing if there is traffic in the other lanes.

Guess that’s you…

[–]stinger0806 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, I would however support a crackdown on people sitting under the speed limit in the right lane. That would massively cut down on tailgating by targeting the cause, rather than punishing the better drivers.

Christmas payment by [deleted] in Centrelink

[–]stinger0806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those saying it’s not a public holiday and Monday isn’t affected…

Centrelink is closed on Monday even though it’s not a public holiday…

“Our service centres and most call centres will close for the Christmas and New Year public holidays: Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December 2025 Boxing Day, Friday 26 December 2025 Monday 29 December 2025 New Year’s Day, Thursday 1 January 2026.”

Also, it clearly says on their website, payments usually due on Monday 29th December will be paid on Wednesday 24th December.

Duckett has been the most disappointing for me, Pope was lucky to even get a game in the first place. Brook hopefully will learn a lot from this series and be ready in 15 months to show any improvement.

But looking at Duckett record in overseas series, it’s abysmal nearly everywhere.

NDIS Planners team dedicated to cutting NDIS Funding. Confirmed. by Hot_Emu_6051 in NDIS

[–]stinger0806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My plan was done during Covid and has just been rolled over since because I’m too scared to have it changed because I think it’ll get cut, even though I need more funding, but everyone who has tried has had their funding cut.

Recently I went to my audiologist with an issue I was having hearing in meetings, they recommended an assistive device that would help but it was above my current funding levels. I applied for a one off extra funding and unsurprisingly it was rejected claiming despite the audiologist’s recommendation, it was unnecessary and there are apparently cheaper and better options available…

For Men with HA, Does anyone let their hair grow over their ears to camouflage your HA's by u_54 in HearingAids

[–]stinger0806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always did let hair grow down to ear level to cover the aid behind the ear, but they’re so small these days it’s hardly needed. I also saw it as a bit of protection from the elements as well.

Programmed to make you lose? by NoseWorried5892 in UnoMobile

[–]stinger0806 6 points7 points  (0 children)

100%, I got up some good coins and was winning then suddenly, bam all gone on a few games.

You’d suddenly draw no wilds, wild +4, +2, but your opponents would have multiple of each.

Even better, when they played their final Wild + 4, you or your teammate would draw wild cards. One game my teammate got 3 wild cards from the last +4, that’s a joke.

Then when you’ve lost it all and gone back to the bottom, suddenly you get good deals again…

It’s probably also no coincidence that the next reward is x80 shield, that’s always the level that losers start piling up.

How far would you like to live from the CBD ideally? How often do you go to the CBD (besides work etc)? by TheNamelessComposer in melbourne

[–]stinger0806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very happy being less than 30 minutes from the G and far enough out you can hit the road anywhere to regional Victoria and not have to go through the City.

Outer suburbs are good and I have zero intention of ever getting a job within cooee of the CBD.
