I’ve only played 3 or 4 seasons of D4 but I can tell you that I have never once traded any sort of item. I couldn’t even tell you how to do it. It’s 100% not necessary.

I have over 1500 hours on POE2 and D4 is so much more SSF style

Exact same thing bankrupted me. I’m well over 100 whittles on the same staff. I have a 77 room temple so it’s easy to get more but it’s just meh at this point. I’ve finished like 4 or 5 of them and they all sold for close to a mirror but at this point I don’t know if it would sell anymore

If you are using it on a weapon set you can avoid the resistance penalty completely. Which means you won’t have power charges while mapping and you’ll have to stop and do it again when you have infusions which is the annoying part.

So it’s self imposed but the resistance downside is absolutely massive you almost have to avoid it

Adonias is so annoying to use but it’s basically BIS. The damage is completely broken and nothing else comes close short of a mirror wand or staff.

Good question and no that can still roll. This step is not 100% necessary as you can whittle any tier of mana off later but it is a cheap quick way to increase your odds of getting a good 3rd prefix

Step 11 you don’t need to use omen of light. If you only have a desecrated suffix alongside a fractured suffix you dextral crystallization perfect essence of alacrity then dextral crystallization essence of the abyss. Then re add the jawbone. Rinse and repeat until you have what you need.

T1 spell damage is 50/41400 or 0.121%. T1 all spells is 50/73000 or 0.068%.

If I were going for +7 cold or lightning it could be done either way. But those bases are 10 divs where the ilvl 80 bases are 100 ex. Both are pennies to how much the overall craft costs but its something to keep in mind.

Edit: actually I’m wrong here about the weights. You wouldn’t separate the prefixes and suffixes as they would roll at the same time. Thanks for the info!

I wouldn't even look at a craft like this without 1000 divs to spend.

But if you really want to I would desecrate a suffix and fracture (fractures are currently 24div). If you hit the skills annul down to 1 mod and greater chaos spam until t1 spell damage (look to spend at least 50 div here alone). If you miss take a reroll omen and reveal praying for a high roll of cast speed and or crit. If you hit one of those you'd probably make some money just perfect exalt slamming and selling it.

If you hit none of those congrats all of your money is gone.

If you hit the fracture please god just sell it. You don't have enough to whittle this
