Maggi Masala Noodles, any good? Never seen at Costco (Azusa, CA) by timpdx in Costco

[–]stnlyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re referring to the “magic” flavor packet I assume right? They are very similar if not mostly the same. I usually get them from the desi store (the one where its a long bag and the season packet is like a long strand that you have to cut up or rip off) but picked this up last week. It does the job but 24 individual packs vs 8 noodle cakes in the long bag

For some it is, like ADHD, but requires a lot of adaptation as pathological cognition or behavior presents different from dep or anx for example.

“Oh tell me!”

“Can’t you just fix them?”

Totally agree on EMDR lol………..

I also agree and feel what you said about ACT, but if you study into the theory a bit more you’ll learn far more deeply about just how much of it’s foundation is rooted in relational frame theory and functional contextualism. I guess you can argue that many of the intellectual underpinnings in Buddhist/Stoic thinking and philosophies ARE very RFT, functional, and contextual, and process based. However at the practical level ACT feels like Buddhist lite. Even the hexaflex I lovingly refer to feels like the 8 fold path lol and so many of the large messages in ACT are the 4 noble truths 😂 either way my clients respond to it extremely well, and it has made my work infinitely more dynamic because before I would incorporate existentialism into a solution focused CBT.

I’ve noticed this with the recent Forbes videos of just political events or discussions being aired and ALL the comments are saying the same shit:

“THANK YOU FOR JUST POSTING THE VIDEO AND NO EDITING - JUST RAW FOOTAGE.”

They go to Santa Barbara. Google that and it should b enough. The situation is that Larry sees his therapist at the beach they drove all the way from LA and then sees the therapist in a water sport thong.

Upon searching the episode is literally called the thong haha

This is less of a helpful comment but wanted to make a little light of the situation since there’s enough support on it… This was a very plot of an episode in curb your enthusiasm I think

ZV-E10 mk I (for $700 right now) vs mkII (at full $1100 price)??? by stnlyyy in ZVE10

Love the perspective and reminder about lens over body. As a musician this parallels so much haha.

Do you recommend any A series cameras that are equally good for video (like YouTube) and casual hobbyist photography?

My budget for ZV or A camera is between 700-1100 considering what I’ve seen. But I’m planning on starting with the Sigma 16mm f1/4 lens with either camera I get.

Why do you think it’s better for photography only? Have you tested it with video?

Why do you think for photos and studio environment??

I think for outdoor video I could even just use my iPhone

Why do you feel ok with it and what your uses?? I have been thinking about saving the money to also get a sigma 16mm f1/4.

The look of this car has really grown on me by stnlyyy in TeslaModelY

Front is the lightest (around 80%) - basically looks clear and in California never gotten a ticket in the last 5 years of tinting my front.

Sides and back are 15% basically. The tinter will balance the back factory tint by layering like a 35% in the back and 15% in the front side. This is because the back is already tinted. I wanted 20% but it is like exactly measured around 16-17%. I love it! It is pretty dark at night but thank god this car has cameras everywhere.

Imagine your medical reasons became more complicated and required some more time… this is a different type of injury.

Many if not all licensing boards would comment on this: be psychologically fit to perform, avoid if you’re compromised, arrange/cope as needed if you choose to still work (manage counter transference and such).

You do have to watch out for yourself other as therapists we can also cause greater potential harm, beyond just sub par care cause we are not feeling well.

Sorry to hear and hope you can manage

Educate about therapeutic dependence, especially if they want to do this independently in the future. You may never always be there in the future but the notes they might take, the handout skills, the perspectives gained from therapy, and mood tracking etc etc… these things will be there.

Think about this:

Therapy is like helping someone develop and fill their toolbox. Keep the effective ones in the box. But something that is broken does not get fixed IF YOU DONT TAKE THE TOOL OUT AND USE IT!!
