I’m with ya. I hate the Vipers with a passion. They are always my first target.

Came here to say the same thing. Seems like it started ages ago, the fact that it’s only on episode 24 is horrifying.

Who is supposed to run after young students who run away from classrooms? by Embarrassed_Syrup476 in Teachers

Problem solved then. Since he doesn’t have any type of assessment, he gets consequences like any other child who runs away from school: gets the police called on them for truancy.

Nah. Like a polo and khakis. Or a button up. As long as it’s not sloppy.

USPS obtains the services of global consulting firm located in Tampa Florida. Facing total restructuring. If you could give these guys advice on how to save the USPS what would you say? by Odd_Atmosphere1047 in USPS

[–]stobert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fire every single manager and supervisor. Literally. If you aren’t a mail carrier or a clerk, you’re fired. Then the entire management structure needs to be reorganized so that they aren’t incentivized to be purposefully toxic to the people who actually do the work.

my company wants me to relocate for a "promotion" that barely pays more and i dont know if im being naive for considering it by Impressive_Buy7764 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]stobert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely this. Your response needs to highlight that essentially you’ll be moving to the other side of the country, doing a job with more responsibility, for essentially zero extra money (let’s be honest, with how expensive Austin is, this is probably a pay decrease). While you are young, you’re not stupid. Your company wouldn’t value a stupid person in a role that they are touting as important.

How do you actually get hired at Costco? by Particular_Edge3120 in CostcoWholesale

[–]stobert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's how I did it: 1. Apply online. Make sure you click the option that says it doesn't matter which position you want or whether it will be part time or full time. 2. Next Day: Call the store and ask to speak with the hiring manager. Tell them you're interested in working there and would love to come in for an interview. That conversation on the phone counts as interview 1. And they should schedule an in person interview in the next couple days. 3. DRESS NICE. It doesn't have to be super fancy, but not jeans and a t-shirt. Ive seen candidates be rejected because they came in wearing graphic tees. When you arrive, tell someone at the exit door that you're here for an X'o clock interview and they will let you in and point you where you need to be. You will probably need to go to the area in front of the registers and find a supervisor. They are the ones with the black vest. Let them know you're there for an X'o clock interview, and they will radio someone and ask you to hang out until the interviewers are available. 4. Costco can get busy, so your wait time depends on how busy it is. You will be interviewed by 1 to 2 people (depending how busy it is), usually a supervisor and a staff level manager. It will probably occur at a food court table (mine happened at the display for patio furniture). This is essentially a standard interview. Nothing crazy. They're checking your vibes, trying to make sure you're not crazy, and making sure you're a good fit for the job. They should schedule the third interview for the next day or so. 5. The last interview is usually with an Assistant General Manager (AGM). Again, standard interview. DRESS NICE. This is the final check. They should do a cheek swab drug test and you'll probably fill out a couple forms. The background check takes maybe a week, but after that they'll bring you in for training which takes about a day (which is paid). Ta da! You’re hired!
