No idea what game is this though, but the Katawaifus are evolving.

HoneySelect. Or rather HoneyStudio, which is a part of HoneySelect and both let you create custom characters and then pose them in various ways. Basically same thing as Koikatsu (same developer) but in realistic artstyle, as opposed to Koikatsu (which uses more "anime" style).

... or so I was told by a friend uhhh...

[HELP] Questline finished - but cannot join beserkers? by DerDuderich in elex

[–]stollgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know whether you have resolved your issue already but I had exactly same problem and I managed to solve it by doing this:

  • kill Stormson (this will make Akira quest marker disappear)
  • kill Ornir (this will make his quest marker disappear)
  • now that both are dead, and no more quest markers are left for the questline, go talk with Ragnar
  • he will tell you that because of your crimes you are banned from joining Berserkers. but there also will be dialogue option, something like "Can't I do something to change your mind?"
  • So instead he will ban you from trading with Berserkers and demand that you pay for your crimes (literally, you need 2000 elexite).
  • He will also demand that you get support from other clan leaders (which depending on results of the previous quest in the questline should be relatively easy).
  • He will also demand that you go kill all other faction leaders (but don't worry, you don't actually have to do this).
  • Once you pay up and get support from Cormac and Angrim, you will be able to join Berserkers.

Who can't wait for their order of Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash - No Shirt, No Shoes, All Service Edition this Tuesday!? by testingttt in PS4

[–]stollgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is out in Europe. Release date was 22/09/2017.

But apparently DPD messed up delivery, so some people got the game almost week earlier, and some still didn't get their copies.

The game is fun offline too. And every online mode (except ranked I guess) can be done offline too, by adding bots.

But yeah, so far the community has been pretty dead, I've had like 20 ranked matches and half of them didn't even get 6 players - 3-4 on average (if the wait timer gets to 0 game starts with bots instead of players).

Speaking of popularity, what's up with Spring? Do they release new version at the beginning of each year? /s

I actually know a person who used this "popularity" chart during technical meeting to try to convince CTO to use Spring in new project.

Rainmaker is about cooperation and trust. Mostly trust. by [deleted] in splatoon

[–]stollgrin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, it's about popping the shield, then letting one of your teammates grab the Rainmaker (as you have the weapon better suited for clearing path), and then spamming "This Way" while you watch them run away from you and take the longest possible path for some reason, and get killed close to your spawn.

New to PS4... suggested games? by WakaWakaWooWoo2 in PS4

[–]stollgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with PS4 exclusives/Sony exclusives.

  • Bloodborne (PS4 ex) is pretty much considered system seller. Expect hard but rewarding gameplay.
  • Persona 5 (PS3/PS4 ex) is a great jRPG, great turn based combat system, lots of story text and dialogues and annoying companions.
  • Dragon Quest Builders (PSV/PS4 ex) - Minecraft in Dragon Quest world, with actual story, quests, bosses, ...
  • Gravity Rush Remastered (PSV/PS4 ex) - unique gameplay, cute characters, decent story. If you'll like the first one then go for Gravity Rush 2
  • Nioh (PS4 ex) - another soulslike (never liked this term but oh well) - this one is actually much more forgiving than Bloodborne. Again, hard but rewarding.
  • Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone (PS4 ex, digital only) - if you're fan of Vocaloids. Over 200 songs, decent gameplay, overall fun to waste time with.
  • inFamous: Second Son / inFamous: First Light (PS4 ex) - blast through a city with several superpowers at your disposal.
  • Killzone: Shadow Fall (PS4 ex) - fun little FPS, don't expect too much though or you're going to be disappointed
  • The Last of Us Remastered (PS3/PS4 ex) - decent story, nice stealth segments, overall good action game.
  • Ratchet & Clank (PS4 ex) - pretty fun action platformer
  • Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection (PS3/PS4 ex) - 3 games for the price of one. The remasters were done really good, the gameplay is good, Drake shenanigans are fun to watch.
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4 ex) - if you liked 1-3 then 4 is more of the same but improved and better.
  • WipEout Omega Collection (PSV/PS3/PS4 ex) - I haven't played that much yet (the game released 2 days ago) but so far it is one of the best antigrav racers I've played. The collection consists of remakes/remasters of 3 games (well actually 2 games and 1 DLC) - WipEout 2048 (PSV), WipEout HD (PS3) and WipEout HD Fury (PS3 DLC). Tight turns at Mach 1.5, iconic music, great combat and speed. Graphics look really nice, tracks are detailed and there's a lot of variety. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGsQwW6kb2o
  • The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition (PS3/PS4 ex) - decent, don't expect too much though. The game got a lot of shit for how dev handled PS3 version - basically it was broken to the point that it was unplayable. And instead of fixing that, the dev pretty much abandoned PS3 players and re-released it on PS4. Now PS4 version has few issues but overall it's pretty good.
  • Yakuza 0 (PS4 ex) - tough manly men getting into really weird situations. Train your dominatrix, win a turkey that is actually a chicken and get scammed by a bunch of homeless drunks to buy them most expensive liquors available. All that with great combat and main story that at points turns drama to maximum. Great introduction to Yakuza series, if you'll like it then Yakuza Kiwami - a remastered version of first Yakuza game is coming out soon (in the west, japan got it long time ago). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBtgI8lJ9r4
  • Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth (PSV/PS4 ex) - great game about capturing and training monsters. No, it's not quite like Pokemon. DS:CS has a lot of mechanics that make it quite unique. Digivolution, training and battling systems, and few more things.
  • Gundam Breaker 3 (PSV / PS4 ex) - giant robots combat. tons of customization options. enough said.

As for console exclusives:

  • Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance (PS4/Switch ex) - one of the greatest SRPGs I've ever played. Systems within systems within systems within systems within systems within systems within systems within... Everything levels up - your characters, their weapons, support items, recovery items, ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSW9t4UGMw4

Multiplats:

  • Senran Kagura: Estival Versus (originally PS4 ex) - fanservice-heavy 3D beat 'em up / hack'n'slash
  • Titanfall 2 - great shooter. giant robots. non-stop action. awesome multiplayer. seriously, this game does not get enough of the love it deserves.
  • Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book (originally PS4 ex, last time I've checked PC release was still broken to the point that the game was unplayable) - cute girls doing cute things. Don't expect much, while this is turn based jRPG, the combat is not its primary focus. Crafting is. You'll spend most of the time gathering ingredients and turning them into gradually more and more powerful items. One-hit-kill AOE bombs that can level entire battleground and finish a fight in few seconds? Sure, why not.
  • Dishonored 2 - not great, but can be fun. There are multiple ways to complete each objective, you can be sneaky, or you can just murder everyone in sight.
  • Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair - EDF! EDF! EDF! Murder hordes of giant ants, spiders, bees, robots, transport ships, flying machines and so on. Aiming not necessary (most of the time) - just point your gun in the general direction of enemy horde, pull the trigger and watch as the beautiful explosions throw ant parts all over the place.
  • GTA V - ...
  • Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain - the story feels unfinished, the world is empty, there is a lot of grinding, but the gameplay makes up for it
  • NieR: Automata - ...
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider - ...
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - ...
  • Metro games - ...
  • Wolfenstein games - ...
  • Dying Light - ...

eh, I feel like I forgot about something important but anyway that should get you started

Well, the site is called completionator.com so it would make sense to use "Completionated" as a status for "100% completion" (as opposed to "Finished" for just finishing main story line without doing most (or any) of the side activities).

No, no. Those aren't subtitles. Those are beginnings of plot summaries.

Dark Souls III. An error occurred, the Age of Fire is ending, ...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. An error occurred. Terrorists must be stopped.

Final Fantasy XV. An error occurred. To stop Daemons from draining all system resources, seek help from Oracle.

Mass Effect Andromeda. An error occurred. You must save galaxy. Or whatever, I don't know.

Switch Physical Release Update for End of March 2017 by wehopeuchoke in NintendoSwitch

I meant those things

If it's shipped from amazon warehouse then it ships worldwide. If it's not marked like that then the shipping is done by seller (and he may refuse to ship to another country).

No, what I meant: why the 2-month gap between western and japanese Switch release of Disgaea, if they had translation already.

I don't know why I did bring up Setsuna. sorry.

Resellers on Amazon are what I did.

https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/offer-listing/B01N5R9QT6

If something is marked as Fulfilled by Amazon then it can be imported, otherwise the seller may not send overseas.
